Centric and beautiful hotel
mariavdson 29/08/2017 17:59We stayed here for two nights during our recent road trip through Scotland. The room was very nice and new with a modern bathroom. It has no breakfast but there was a nice place down the street (Cafe Marlene). I recommend it. It was also very well situated.
Beautiful Hotel
ukjordanon 12/08/2017 11:39Found this hotel whilst searching online and WOW so glad we stayed here. Why stay at a boring major branded hotel when you can stay here. If you have mobility problems ask for a lower level room as some rooms go into the attic which are a lot of stairs as no lift.....was not a problem for us but anybody who struggles with stairs specifically ask for a first floor room.
The room was amazing very modern well designed and was a pleasure to stay in. The ONLY problem that I would say I had with the room is they have black out blinds covering all the windows bar 2 (around the desk area) which allowed loads of sun light in waking us up early. This is easily fixed by putting up blinds there too and would suggest it to the hotel.
Other than that we had a great time & will definatley be back when we're back in Edinburgh
One of my best stays.....
Knight2015on 03/08/2017 20:37We booked this via another well known website as a last minute package. I have to say for the price we paid, totally blown away by what we received. We were advised at reception we were on the top floor and it was steep stairs. Admittedly, not the fittest person it was a challenge but upon seeing the room I had 0 complaint about the stairs. We were in a beautiful loft like room with sky lights above the bed, the seating area and above the bath. The bathroom was incredible, not only clean, but with a great size shower and roll top bath. TV screen in the bathroom to kick back and unwind. The view overlooked the city and despite being in the colds of winter, we actually had the sky light open for some crisp air as the room had been so well heated. Tea and Coffee amenities with real milk, not the UHT sachets you usually find. It was the perfect getaway for us, a little further walk in to the city that other hotels but definitely worth it. Very friendly service and accommodating for us to leave our luggage for a few hours on check out. We were recommended the Steak restaurant next door at check in and that too did not disappoint. Our biggest concern about the hotel......when can we go back and can we have the same room!
Perfect location for a weekend beak in Edinburgh
AnCa_cityhopperon 31/07/2017 18:59We stayed in this hotel for two nights, highly recommended. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, all in modern classic style. Another plus is definitely a great bathroom, large and well equipped. What I liked particularly was the fact that the room was equipped with a French press to make coffee, is much better than the instant "coffee" equivalents. In terms of location, nothing to add - city's main attractions all in within walking distance, plus super easy access to the airport with a tram (£5 / person, stop nearly in front of the hotel). On a minus side, note that there is no lift in the building - so careful for those with mobility issues (and those who don't travel light).
Mid week break
Lancs74on 27/07/2017 19:41The hotel is located a very short walk from the station. Our room was lovely and spacious and had an opening window to allow for fresh air rather than air-conditioned which was perfect for us. The hotel was quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic accommodation and fairly priced. Would live to stop again.
