Paradise in mcleodganj!
Siddharth Gon 16/07/2017 07:33The entire city is packed up! But then this property is a bliss! Though the approach road is pretty steep so the person driving needs to be careful! The staff is courteous and helpful! I would suggest to book the rooms instead of the cottages! Cottages are very cramped and not maintained! But the rooms are newly built and in very good condition! If I have to rate only on the basis of room, I will give 2.5 or maybe 3 star rating!
The main attraction is its location as you get a view of entire dharamshala from here! 4 stars are mainly because of the views and location!
A fine example of great location, architecture and services !!!!
singh_jagtaron 28/06/2017 09:30I visited this place in May 2017 with my friends. Actually the location of this fine resort is on Mcleodganj - Bhagsu road. To reach this resort, visitors may face a little trek for vehicle. ;)
Around one km downhill, visitors can see the beautiful location of this resort. We saw only one sign board for this resort after long worth search.

Avinash Kon 20/06/2017 10:30It was an amazing experience at GHR ( Great Himalayan Resort near Bhagasu Nag Mcleod Ganj), away from city crowd, a cool and calm place.
We 3 families with kids checked in mid of June 2017 for a stay of 2 Nights , and we did nothing wrong to choose to this beautiful place situated in Bhagasu Nag valley. This resort offers something for all age of groups , kids play area , cricket , tents , huts , table tennis , amazing views , fresh air and a clear view of HPCA Dharmshala stadium as well. Its a complete package for a wonderful stay.
Mr. Shamsher Rana ( Hotel Manager) ,he is a gem of a person and he never denied for anything we requested. The staff is kind and generous.
Room was pretty clean and offers a great view from its big balconies.
A 200 Meters ride downward to the resort is a fun and adventures, one can test his ability to walk upwards on this trek.
About the food , it was good and hygienic.

cpkotharion 17/03/2017 10:24Location wise this place is heaven , We reached there when it was raining which made it more picturesque. Cottages are very cosy and small . Though we booked cottages but as the other room was available they upgraded us to other rooms . Rooms were neat and clean with good furnishing . I think from past reviews they have improved the property .
The road leading to hotel is very steep so yes if you are not confident driver don’t go down place your vehicle some where in parking and ask them to take you down .
Service : They really need to improve . Initially service was pathetic called multiple times for same thing . But with time they improved and were much active then initial calls.
Food : Though they don’t have much options but they provide fresh food . It was very basic but we loved the food there as it was like home cooked food . Need to improve on tea coffee .
If you give order before 2 hours then they give you food on time .
Nice place even if you only want to stay there and enjoy the surroundings
