Perfect Visit

My husband had a conference in Saratoga in May, 2017, and my eleven year old son and I wanted to tag along. Having stayed at the conference hotel before and not enjoying it, I called the Union Gables Mansion Inn. They had no availability at the Inn but gave us an apartment at the Alexander House Suites across the street which is owned and managed by the same people. When we arrived, they upgraded us to a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. We loved it! It was so charming, homey and comfortable. We had full use of the Inn and had breakfast there each morning which was delicious. The owner and manager of the properties were friendly and so helpful with recommendations for things to do and restaurants. My husband had taken our car to the conference but it didn't matter because my son and I were able to walk to the main drag in Saratoga Springs as well as the National Racing Museum. It really was a perfect visit and we loved our stay at this property!

A Few Days in Saratoga Springs

Union Gables is the perfect place to stay. It is located within walking distance from everything ... the parks, the racetrack, and downtown.
The Inn is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The pool area is perfect for lounging on a hot summer day.
Tom was on duty as the Innkeeper while we were there. He was extremely helpful with marking up our local map with things to see and do. No need to visit the Visitor Center if Tom's around.
Would highly recommend Union Gables Inn!

Exceptional Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I decided to take a couple nights to get away before picking up our daughter from sleep away camp. We always enjoy bed and breakfasts but this stay was exceptional. We stayed in the Library Room and brought our dog with us. The room itself was beautifully appointed and the pictures on the website don't do it justice. We loved being so close to the pool. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for us to be able to use it. We loved that our dog was welcome to sit on the beautiful porch with us. The breakfast is made to order unlike other B and B's which we really appreciated. Don't miss the oatmeal raisin cookies. So worth the calories!

Great weekend - our first visit to Saratoga Springs!

We have been vacationing in Stowe, VT for more than ten years and traveling from the Philadelphia area we have driven by the exit for Saratoga Springs dozens of times and we FINALLY decided to visit. The Union Gables was great and we stayed in the Linda Room for two nights. Window A/C unit worked well and had the side benefit of drowning out the street noise. We borrowed bicycles from the Inn one day which worked out great - it would great though if they came up with suggested bike routes we could follow. We also sat by the pool one afternoon. Room was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. One suggestion - it would be a nice addition if they had a short evening reception for an hour or so with wine and light hors d'oeuvres.

We would definitely stay at Union Gables again when visiting Saratoga Springs.

What a lovely B&B

We stayed in the Henry House. It was lovely with a king-sized bed, full kitchen, etc. The accommodations were extremely comfortable. Tom is a lovely host. Every morning we had a delicious full breakfast.

We will certainly return to Union Gables on our next visit to Saratoga. Just a fantastic place to stay!!!
