We LOVE Upper Yorkville Suites
SandraLanglinaison 26/06/2017 23:12This was our second time to visit Upper Yorkville Suites in Upper East Side Manhattan (West Harlem). You are right by the Subway and a very close walk to Lexington Avenue which has a plethora of wonderful restaurants from which to choose.
David, our innkeeper is so nice and full of excellent ideas for spending your time. The rooms are immaculately clean and have flat screen televisions and plenty of room...much more-so than a hotel. Nice windows to look outside and the rooms stay very comfortable with air conditioning on those hot summer days/nights.
We visited with our granddaughter and her friend and had a great time while there. It's like you're living in NYC! There is a McDonald's right next door too.
They are happy to hold your luggage if your travel times don't coincide with your check-in or check-out.
I highly recommend Upper Yorkville Suites for a great place to stay while in NYC!
Extremely disappointed
Louise Gon 13/03/2017 21:39E-mails sent to the organization before the visit with some specific questions about the stay, but never got an answer. Tried to contact the landlord by phone, but never got an answer.
New Yorkville Suites promised to keep the luggage until our departure for the airport,but finally this was not possible and we had no choice but to take everything with us while visiting the city.
Appartement clean, however big noise from the air conditioning of the McDonalds next door even at night.
Bathroom rudimentary.
Disappointing
No late "check in", no costumer service.
Boris Bon 22/10/2016 19:59I didn't get there yet, but already I'm on the phone for two days regarding my late check in.
Apparently, there is no late "check in" at the Upper Yorkville suites, so if you arriving at the hotel at 2am, like I do, the hotel has no solution for you.
I made the booking via Expedia and paid in advance, right after, I called hotel to notify about late "check in", the representative told me ta call couple days before arrival and notify the hotel again, just to be sure. And that's exactly what I did.
After I called them third time, I received a call from hotel manager "David" and he told me that there is no one at the office after midnight and I should contact my booking agency for arrangements.
Seriously!!!!!!!!!!?????????
Now, I'm arriving in two days and right now it looks like me, my wife and our little daughter will spend the night on the street.
Fantastic Apartments
richard mon 18/09/2016 08:46Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children 12 and 14) stayed for 12 nights in May 2016. We had a wonderful stayed in the one deluxe on the first floor. We were initally a bit concerned about the area but it was fine. Subway is close and about 20 minutes on the train into grand central.
The kids really enjoyed Joy Burger which is very handy.
The apartment was clean and warm. Most of all the owners Dave and Bob were very helpful and we had issues with checking in procedures which had been mentioned previously.
We are return to NYC next year and will definately be contacting the owners to stay here again.

Dawn Con 19/06/2016 19:27Being familiar with the neighborhood, I was very excited to stay at at Upper Yorkville Suites. Everything was perfect! We had a beautiful studio room that was larger than most high end rooms. Everything was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms have a nice kitchenette with with all appliances. I travel to the area several times a year and plan on staying here from now on.
