Garima66on 30/08/2017 11:47From the beginning to the end everything about the hotel is well looked into.
The entrance is beautifully done up Just like any palace the water body at the entrance leads to steps that lead into the main hall that is converted into a reception area.
The reception area is warmly and tastefully done up in grey and silver .
The rooms on the ground level open into a courtyard that makes one feel that we are living in a joint family The courtyard too is beautifully and tastefully done up.
The courtyard leads to another beautifully done up green patch that has the smoking zone tucked away under large old father trees.
and further down is the awesome swimming pool that is immaculately kept and so perfectly lighted up .
the whole area it seems was built for the royal Prince of Wales when he came visiting India.
The only flaw is the dining area which has a feel of being left out and cut off from the family of Taj Usha Kiran.
cracked grocery and sweaty waiters both are a big put off. Yet the meals were well cooked and promptly served.
There is a rose wood lift which they claim is about 135 yrs old . That again was a disappointment because it was so shabbily kept. I was really looking forward to this antique but the way it was kept was disappointing .
Overall a really relaxing and quiet time spent with perfect surroundings .

867garimason 21/08/2017 19:41the stay at this hotel was very relaxing and comfortable . It seems the that the staff is well trained to take special care of the guest. Staff at the swimming pool was amazing. Surrounding of swimming pool is very close to nature full of greenery.
