Stayed as part of a group, all the rooms were very dark, even with the lights on! I know the heat of mid summer necessitates darker accommodation, but people need light, even just to read! The fridge in my room couldn't be used, as it made too much noise turning on and off in the night! There was no wardrobe.
We were on a group 'meal plan' so very basic food, wholesome and plentiful, but nothing exciting! Our packed lunches were similarly bland.
This is a farmhouse getaway nothing more, and to that end lives up to expectancies.

A dreamy and extremely romantic wedding venue, in a beautiful countryside location, with the most wonderful staff you can imagine! My husband and I were married here two weeks ago and simply can not find enough positive words to describe our experience. Prior to booking with Vasilias we researched just about every possible wedding venue in Cyprus but none of the hotel or beach options felt personal enough for us. By accident we stumbled across Vasilias online and just instantly fell in love with the place. Although all the online pictures are beautiful they just do not do it justice because it is even more intimate and romantic when you are there. It has a special vibe that you just won't understand until you step foot in the beautiful wedding courtyard with the vine covered wooden beams above your head. We only booked our wedding four months in advance but found the planning and organising process with Vasilias very straightforward. On booking we were allocated an online VPlanner account which included all the details of our day- menus and drink options, decorations, table plans, administrative arrangements etc. We found this system extremely easy to use and it enabled us to easily keep track of what we were ordering and exactly how much we were spending. We want to give a special mention to Christina (the owner and wedding planner) who was wonderful throughout. From the first contact she was professional and approachable and is so warm and friendly when you meet her too. On our wedding day she worked tirelessly all day, paying attention to every small detail of our day to the point where we didn't have to worry about anything. On the wedding day I referred to her as my angel because I honestly felt that is what she was! It rained the morning of our wedding day and I was so worried that we might not be able to get married in the outdoor courtyard (which had always been my dream). Christina was so positive and calm throughout and unbelievably two minutes before the start of our ceremony the rain stopped. Everything had been set up to have the ceremony indoors but Christina was so dedicated to giving us the day of our dreams, that she arranged for everything to be moved outside just minutes before the ceremony started. This was her attitude throughout the whole day, nothing was too much trouble for her and she and all the staff worked so hard to ensure that everything was exactly as we wanted it to be. It can be daunting to start organising a wedding from a distance as you worry that things will be out of your hands. With Christina and her team however you have nothing to worry about because you can be sure that they will care about the smooth running of your day as much as you do. This was certainly our experience. Our day was perfect and was everything we had wanted it to be and more. It was very relaxed, intimate and romantic and all our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was. A big thank you again to Christina and all the team at Vasilias for giving us a truly magical and memorable wedding day that we will treasure forever. We feel so lucky to have found such a special place to get married and privileged to have been your first wedding of the 2017 season. Romantic setting and wonderful hosts

My husband and I went to the Vasilias Nikoklis Inn for a honeymoon after getting married in Paphos the day before. We arrived on the opening day of the season for the hotel, and Christina booked us into the bridal suite. The room was absolutely beautiful, with a lovely little balcony and a great view of the surrounding hills. Although we were there visiting with just the two of us at the start of the season, we thought this must be an incredible wedding venue in the summer months. We really enjoyed the breakfast provided each morning, and ate at the hotel restaurant each evening next to a lovely fire. We particularly enjoyed the halloumi and mint ravioli for dinner. Christina and the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and we could not have asked for a better stay for our honeymoon. We really enjoyed being here at the start of the season. The Vasilias Nikolas is a wonderful and romantic countryside hotel and we highly recommend it.

We always knew that Cyprus would be the host for our wedding day but when the search begun, hotels upon hotels were what we found. Something for us didn't feel quite right about getting married in a hotel where holiday makers were over looking from sunloungers. And then we discovered Vasilias Nikoklis Inn...

We are lucky enough that my husband has Cypriot Grandparents and so visit Cyprus from time to time. Whilst there in 2014 I made contact with Christina who welcomed us to Vasilias to take a look around. It's peaceful, unique, rustic and private feel was absolutely what we were looking for. We fell in love with Vasilias there and then.

Christina put our minds at ease from the second we made contact. Her calm and professional way was exactly what is needed when booking a wedding abroad. When arriving to Cyprus we visited Christina and Vasilias and provided all our personal touches and Christina done the rest.

Our day happened on 16.09.16 and was truly magical. It was so nice to have all our close family and friends in such a beautiful place to witness my best friend and I get married after 9 years together. Everyone was relaxed and enjoyed the great atmosphere, food and drink.

Marios at Photo7studio captured our day to perfection. His artistic flair and reassuring nature made us feel relaxed and enjoy being centre of attention. Months on we look back at our photos with delight at the moments Marios captured.

We had our flowers from Jayne at Flowers by design. I was quite specific on what I wanted with my colours of pink and blue and Jayne fulfilled my request so beautifully. We had Jars on the tables to finish the venue off nicely and everyone commented on how lovely the bouquets were. I was worried the flowers would die quickly in the heat but they didn't and even survived the rest of our holiday.

As we had the suppliers package with Vasilias we had the resident DJs Tony and Jilly who were so lovely and worked with our play list and any request they received from our guests. We had the Greek dancers later in the evening which was absolutely brilliant. They got everyone involved and had an additional member (my rather drunk brother) which made this even more entertaining.

All the above worked together to make our day so memrable and we could not thank them enough for this. I would highly recommend each and every one of them. Thank you all for contributing to make our memories so wonderful.

The most romantic amazing wedding

if you are looking for the dream wedding venue, I can not recommend this place enough, the venue is magical and absolutely perfect, with amazing food with the care and attention given by Christina and her team you will have the most amazing memories.
My only regret is that we can't do it all again!!!
