Great Peaceful Place to Stay

Great staff and really peaceful place for stay if you want to stay long. Veeniola Holiday Home is very far from Calangute but great place in Margaon. Beach on walking distance and you will get very comfortable feel here. Nice Experience.

Great accommodation with even greater people

We stayed at veeniola for three nights and totally loved it! The rooms and the bathroom are clean and the beds are huge. The beach is about 10 minutes walk away and not very crowded which is really nice. The price for what you get is really fair. Besides all that this accommodation can offer we really felt welcome by the staff. They showed us around and helped us with whatever we asked for. They constantly try to improve and even asked us for our personal feedback. Really Lovely people and a very nice place to stay which I can only recommend and I'd definitely come again!!

The holiday home is a very nice place to relaxe. The beach, which is in walking distance, is very quite. There are not too many tourists which is pretty nice. The rooms are very clean!!! The food from the restaurant was very good as well. The holiday home is in a quite area, so that u can sleep very good. The owners are awesome and very friendly as well :) we would love to come back

Veeniola - home from home

Well, here I am again for my umpteenth stay at the Veeniola. I like to start my trip (and return to the airport) from here, if not staying long term - I've done both. The taxi from Dabolim airport is 45 minutes and ranges from less than 1000 to 1600 rupees, depending on the time of day or night.
On arrival, it feels like home. The rooms are spotlessly clean, all have spacious shower rooms and plenty of 24hr hot water. Other amenities can be fridge, TV, aircon etc. Depends on your budget.
A note about previous comment regarding over booking. Very occasionally a guest might be reticent about moving on. The alternative accommodation is a minute walk away. Equally good, and indeed some returning guests prefer these rooms.
I must mention the staff who all, without exception, work hard to make your stay pleasant and easy.
As many have said, scooters and taxis are readily available - (sadly, cheaper auto rickshaws are not allowed in the area). Cavelossim centre is 5 minutes away using these. Main season, it has a wide variety of shops, atms, restaurants, bars, beach shacks and entertainment. Many of us prefer the 'just outside town location'.
Zalor beach is closer, walkable and beautiful..

So you walk in, and you love the warm vibes this place emanates. We were a group of 10, who were all so much more than satisfied with our breakfast there, that we went back the next day as well. The food is good, the ambience is fun and friendly and both Charlie & Wally, are the epitome of courteous... Definitely a place to check out in South Goa!!!
