Not a star hotel
Deepak Gon 27/07/2017 12:59I booked this hotel with breakfast and dinner included. On check in hotel refused dinner but after contacting goibibo I received a mail saying, Veg Biryani / Kadai Vegetable/ Roti/ Gulab jamon/Milk (For 2pax) will be delivered prior 21hrs to the room. But I don't like my meals in my room so I refused.
This is a very old property which requires a make over and renovation. Every decor is 20-30 years old.
An average stay...nothing much to cheer about

The maintenance guys also seemed to be lacking enough skills to sort out issues, when called for. Overall an average stay, expected much more .....
Expensive; experience mixed! Staff very courteous!
Srinivasan Kon 20/03/2017 17:01This is probably the most expensive hotel in Tiruppur. I had an upgrade to Deluxe room thanks to my sharing the TripAdvisor rating with the hotel manager & asking him to ensure a good room for me!!! Still the room rent was on the higher side for the class.
Staff at Reception, restaurants, room service, spa & housekeeping were all extremely pleasant and courteous! Will give 5/5! Room was nice & cozy! No issues with that except that there is no electronic safe. For the room rent I paid, I was surprised.
Bathroom, toiletries, TV channels etc were all fine. No hand shower though!
Pathways are cluttered with surplus furniture. Also the hotel needs more regular maintenance. The restaurant crockery is dated and needs upgrade.
The area around the hotel is very beautiful & the setting is attractive! Spa service is professional!
May visit again considering the lack of alternatives!!!

Jason Pon 28/02/2017 07:43Nice position in Tirupur, nice kitcken staff and good food. The room are a bit expansive! Negative points: No safebox, but must important is INTERNET! A pain!!! it is Slow and everyday I have to ask for a new id and password and if I use more the 1 GB I finish to use internet! I work with pics so I spend every day more the 1 Gb. 2 week ago I was at Angel hotel. All was nasty but internet was the best! After talk with the director Mr. Rangiadas, He told me that next time I will get internet without limit of time and GB. I will see.
Good property in shambles
shirish son 12/02/2017 08:07I stayed in Velan a week ago and i must confess this was the worst hotels i have stayed in recently. The property is decaying and its rooms smell. Carpet and curtains have stains and the linen has a strange smell is something which has not seen sun for days. i tried 2-3 rooms but they were all the same. tata sky in the rooms dont work, intercom is an issue, a/c makes noise and wifi is a pain to get connected to. The only saving grace was the food which was good. The front office staff was lousy but kitchen staff was good. However, i will never stay here till the entire property is renovated.
