Affordable and Clean
Celina Aon 22/08/2017 03:40This is one of the most budget- friendly hotel in Cebu City. Room amenities - free wifi, hot and cold shower, Cable TV. They also offer breakfast buffet. A very intimate place but it feels homy. It's also very accessible.
Budget Friendly
LegendHarryon 17/07/2017 04:43Although I have three days left for my Cebu trip, I decided to just have a staycation instead. I wanted to rest. I didn't want to go through some physically demanding activities.
So I looked up for a decent accommodation that fits my budget. I searched through several online hotel reservations apps and then I came across with Verbena. I got a great deal and booked it right away.
The first room that I was assigned to had an issue. The split-type air conditioner cannot cool the whole room. So I requested another room. Good thing someone vacated his. I was immediately transferred.
I liked it that the room was cooler and more spacious which had two double beds, too. The hot shower was so relaxing as well.
The only let down was their buffet breakfast. For a price of P150, I was expecting more. I just couldn't help it.
Budget-friendly & accommodating staff
Gideon Hon 26/06/2017 15:29If you're looking for a "budgetel" in Cebu City, Verbena is the one. Aside from being clean and also near the fuente osmena circle, what I like the most are the staff (special mention: cathy, joy, mia and harvi); they're very accommodating including the guards.
A fancy backpacker inn
Ha Ni Mon 19/06/2017 01:40First off, your minty air freshener at the lobby is really relaxing. Staff, welcoming and accommodating. The room is well-kept. The only thing I want to suggest though is add more variety dishes for your breakfast buffet. During our stay we were served chorizo (pork) and scrambled eggs. For a non-pork eater like me, it would be nice if there was an alternative to pork maybe chicken longanisa or hotdog perhaps?

The soothing smell accompanied by instrumental music really relaxed my mind out from heavy traffic.I was wrong when f.o said it was only the ambiance that made me thought they have spa, they offer massage for room service type only.
I came as a walk-in guest with no prior reservation and got disappointed at first when Magallena Rooms their cheapest rate where fully booked already due to group bookings. But I was glad pretty girl at front desk offered some discounts on Empress Room plus a buffet breakfast .Can't forgot also the welcome drink they offered to me, an organic juice named "Ginger with Honey-Lemon juice" i found it really cool. This isn't a 5 star hotel but wow!!!! I was impressed with their "Courtesy Call " out of their busy day they still happen to ask each one of their guests how was the stay or was there anything else they could help just to make me fell comfortable..I surely recommend this to my friends and relatives then......
