1) Rooms are very cheap ant not good
2) Small TV with 2 chanels
3) Very simple dishes for dinner (4), bot so tasty. Only 0.5l water for two and no other drinks
4) Swimming pool is not working
5) Fri-Sat very load music, you can't sleep

Bad verge of hotel Vergi

Last summer we had contradictory experience and we had a bittersweet emotions. Cyprus is amazing but the hotel Vergi has a lot of negative features, and attractive appearance of the hotel was misleading.
The first impression of negative because of receptionist's rude behavior. Next, our apartment was old (need repair), small and uncomfortable. Also, temperature inside the room in the morning was high: it was hot like in hell, because someone from stuff switched off air-conditioner as a rule. Hairdryer and freezer were absent. The swimming-pool was dirty, with sand and insects!!!
Despite of this, the nature was awesome and the sea was very close to the hotel.

this is when I entered I noticed that I had no bulbs in the room, it smelled very bad, it was very dusty, the bathroom was a mess in front of the window in the room dripping sheets were dirty, towels were torn, I went down to reception to indreb if they were wrong because the rooms we stayed in were very dirty.
hotel owner was surprised that allow me to say so and began to argue because I can afford to come to him and say that the hotel is a mess.

Cheap accommodation for undemanding

For this price very good choice if you only sleep in hotel and You don`t care realy much about the conditions (ants in rooms, dirtily). Good access to Larnaca by bus (ever half an hour) and near to the beach. Towels and shampoo in hotel. Paid WIFI. Unfortunatelly rude service. Courtesy costs nothing.

It is budget (2-3 star) hotel about 7km from the Larnaka city center.
There is a bus stop (there is no sign for this, but you can wait for the bus next to the traffic sign ) just across the street and bus 425 will take you to the city and to the Larnaka airport for 1.50 Euros. 20 minutes to the city and about 40 minutes to the airport.
Rooms are basic and mine was pretty clean when I got there. Flat TV had an USB port, so you can bring movies and plug it in to watch your own stuff as there are about 15 TV channels- Greek and Russian.
Breakfast is really basic- nescafee, tea, milk, butter, olives, tomatoes and cucumbers some cheese and salami, jam/ fruits and toast bread. Dinner is much better and there was different meal every day - this was some traditional Greek and Russian cuisine I guess, but tasty and sufficient. Sometimes we got piece of cake as well and half liter of water.
Only problem was with the noisy late Friday and Saturday nights when they have organised music nights in the restaurant on the ground level. If you sleep tight this wouldn't be a problem for you.
It is a cheap hotel (I paid about 120 Euros for half -board for a week stay in late November) near to the nice shore promenade and couple sandy beaches. Guess that summer is bit more expensive.
Stuff is friendly and quiet and sometimes you will hardly meet them at the reception area.
There is a grill restaurant where you can buy lunch (4- 7 Euros), but if your room is close to the grill it could be smoky and sometimes noisy.
So, to summarize - cheap, fairly clean and quiet (there were just few guests in November), close to the nice beaches and walking areas- heaven for cat lovers :)
