Michelle Gon 12/10/2016 17:53We booked this hotel to stay in whilst we attended the Wurst Markt in Bad Dürkheim. To be fair the hotel suited its purpose as a place to rest our heads and tired feet and to indulge in a delicious breakfast buffet both mornings.
The rooms were incredibly warm and due to this we had to open the windows which made for a great deal of noise... so bring ear plugs if you're staying in summer months. Other note is the barmen although super kind and hardworking had limited experience with cocktails so keep easy with wine, beer and simple shorts.
It was ideal in its location as its in walking distance to the train and the town.
High cost for poor sleep!
gmadessison 11/10/2016 12:32Half of the rooms are giving on a very busy street, with a lot of noisy circulation that you can enjoy from your bed, because poor sonic isolation of the windows! Just unacceptable.... to rent these rooms ...
Great hotel in Frankenthal
SimonofTewinon 11/10/2016 00:11Feels like a boutique-y hotel though not that small. Interesting design. Room was a little on the warm side (this was September/October) but otherwise very comfortable. Hearty and tasty breakfasts. Bar stayed open for (almost) as long as you kept buying drinks. Would go back any time.
Well located & comfortable
Claire Non 13/09/2016 19:48We were a group of friends & found the hotel very satisfactory. The rooms aren't massive but are adequate, & the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, the views are an extra bonus! The staff were friendly & attentive. We did have some drinks in the hotel bar though & wouldn't recommend the cocktails! We stayed during a heat wave & the rooms were quite stuffy, though luckily it is possible to open the windows. Ear plugs recommended to block out the noise from the road. Overall a good trip!
PURE LUXURY
transnati0nalon 18/08/2016 12:07For a city hotel, this is the height of luxury. The rooms are opulent, but done in very good taste. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious.
Whilst quite a walk from the city centre, it is well worth the stay. This is only a 4* hotel, but with 5* attributes. I would certainly stay there again.
