Relaxing Beach with plenty of space

We love this beach. It's great for just relaxing in the sun. If you get too hot just take a dip in the ocean. Every time we have come here people have seen turtles and fish. I hear it's a great place to snorkel although I have never been myself. There are showers to rinse off before you get into the car and bathrooms near the beach. Great place for kids too.

this is a beautiful beach. natural and rugged. Rumors are that some developer has his eyes on it... so it may too become part of the strip... enjoy it while you can.

Good snorkeling and nice kid-friendly waves

I liked snorkeling on the reef between Mokapu and Ulua beaches. Saw some colorful fish. A lot of people were snorkeling so maybe not as pristine an experience as other places, but super fun and easy access from our hotel. Kid-friendly beach with small waves, clear water and sandy bottom.

Nice less crowded beach

This was a very nice, less crowded beach. At either end there were some tide pools with lots of interesting nooks to explore. The beach had less of an incline and wave action seemed to be milder also. Great for families/kids.

We were able to access this beach from the hotel we were staying at, The Andaz Maui, which kept the beach less crowded. Great snorkeling spot. Saw a turtle and some fishes and coral. Clean and beautiful!
