Experience of Villa Donna Fausta

Everything about the villa was great, Fausta herself was brilliant and her staff very helpful. You were given a great breakfast to set up your day, and coffee's whenever you wanted one. Our room over looked the coast will the lights twinkling at night. It was perfect room. The only down side to the room was the wifi which wasn't strong and the tv wasn't international .. i.e. all in Italian .. would have been good at lease if you could get eauropean news etc. Outside of that it was a lovely charming place to stay. We stayed June 2015.

Wonderful, eccentric and beautiful

A beautiful place in a very high location between Amalfi and Positano, with wonderful views of the sea and bay of Salerno. Donna Fausta was a fantastic and generous hostess who was always there to help out with every enquiry and problem. She even managed to get our hire car fixed when we scratched it on the crazy roads of the Amalfi coast. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with a wonderful combination of meats, cheeses, omelettes, fruit and home made cake. And we were able to take it up to our balcony and enjoy the view. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are decorated in a sophisticated and elegant way and the bed was really comfortable. We would recommend getting a room with a view and balcony. It's a hairy drive down to the coastal road so best to have a small car, although there is a beautiful walk from Agerola along the Path of the Gods to Positano if you're feeling fit!!

Idyllic villa in Agerola

We stayed in Villa Donna Fausta for one night on our stay in Agerola. We had a great experience - the staff was very friendly, the room was clean with comfy beds and we had a nice view on the seaside. Breakfast the next morning was also good. Recommendation for Dinner at La Selva. Overall we had a nice stay here and would recommend it. There are not so many things to do in Agerola though and it is a bit far to drive from the direct coastline (and there were many mosquitoes so take a spray with you!).

Great find

We stayed in Villa Donna Fausta for a few nights whilst visiting the Amalfi Coast.

We were first due to stay here in early summer but had to cancel due to a family situation. Even though by the booking contract we were due to pay a fee for late cancellation, the accommodation were kind enough to waive the fee due to the circumstances. When we decided to rebook our trip later in the year,Villa Donna Fausta was our first point of contact particularly due to the goodwill shown earlier in the year.

Visiting the Villa,we were certainly not disappointed it is located in the mountains overlooking the Amalfi Coast in the lovely, quaint and quiet village of Agerola. We were greeted by the vibrant and charismatic Fausta who is the perfect hostess. She (along with Teresa who supports Fausta in the running of the Villa) couldn't have been any more lovely or charming.

The room was gorgeous;old school decor with a great view of the coast from one window and the mountains from the other. Very rustic in character.

The place itself was very clean and it is ideally located for visiting the various towns along the coast. We had a hire car but there is also s bus service that goes from Agerola to Amalfi,Positano and other towns. Either a car or public transport is essential to visit the Coast as it is rather remote. We did however spend one day walking from Agerola to Positano across the 'way of the Gods' which is a roughly 14kmwalk across the mountains and is well worth doing.

Comfortable, clean and with a great hostess

Although this B&B is best reached by car since it is a bit out of the way, it is the situation in the perfect area if you want to visit Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. The rooms have lovely views, though I would recommend spending a little extra to get a sea view because it is lovely. The rooms were of a good size, along with the bathroom and the breakfast was good. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the internet connected in our room. The best thing though is the hostess. She is one of the lovelies women I've ever met. If you ever have a question or want to clarify something, she'll give advice and help wherever she can.
