Very Puzzling
rashmib53on 31/07/2017 12:07We had booked 2 deluxe double rooms through booking.com in Villa Everest in January 2017 for 3 nights in October and paid Rs. 15k as advance to Villa Everest for the same. We were waiting and watching the situation in Darjeeling before taking any decision as there was still time. Suddenly we got 2 mails from booking.com intimating that our booking has been cancelled. When we asked about the refund of Rs.15k paid as advance, neither booking.com nor Villa Everest responded. I then wrote a review on tripadvisor about this and got a response on my review from Villa Everest in which they gave a mobile no. to contact them. But the given mobile no. is invalid as it consists of 9 digits only. Through this review, I request Villa Everest management to provide a valid no. so that we can discuss the thing with them and then take a decision. I do understand the conditions in Darjeeling and we do not want to be unduly harsh.
Good hotel!
ManojArkadion 10/06/2017 16:54We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel has excellent interiors with nice paintings. good breakfast and dinner menu. Wi-fi was good. It has excellent view of Kanchenjunga and with clear sky you can see it from your room. Close to M G market ( 10 min walk). Room size was smaller than expected.

You can view best snow clad Himalayan range from here on clear days.

Clean and spacious rooms.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Great view.
They have generators/power backup.
Complimentary BF was great !!

suchi4travelon 23/04/2017 20:24I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The room was provided in the top floor, as requested. The room was spacious. Service was good and prompt. The breakfast was good with a variety. Overall, it was a nice stay. Only downside was it was far from the mall road and the room I stayed did not have a mountain view.
