Lovely villa
cynthia bon 20/03/2017 16:08What lovely hosts ! Alessandra & Amadeo were so nice, fun talking with them and learning about the villa's history. She was born there and we stayed in her grandparent's room. We had booked a junior suite and a deluxe double room, but wound up with 2 superior suites ! The rooms are beautiful, exactly like online pictures. How marvelous to stay in this gorgeous piece of history, you expect the Medici to show up at any minute ! We also loved the small town and had a fabulous dinner at La Cantinetta del Nonno. The owner spent a lot of time with us and even brought us complementary Vin Santo after our meal. Unfortunately we only had one night here, but our stay at Villa Il Fedino set the bar very high for the rest of our trip. Can't wait to come back again and stay longer !
Beautiful villa and welcoming hosts
frnz65on 04/01/2017 00:00The villa is very beautiful, and conveniently located just at the edge of San Casciano. There is a parking. The room was beautiful and spacious. The owners are delightful. They suggested a restaurant at close distance which was just perfect.
San Casciano is very close to Florence and at the same time very quiet.
Lovely traditional hotel
rebecca bon 30/10/2016 14:50The hotel is not far from the town centre. The room we stayed in was large, clean and traditional. The bathroom was clean. Breakfast was excellent, amazing views and good choice. The pool is not built into the ground, rather it's above, with a few sun loungers around. The views are great, although there is a quiet murmur from the motorway below. It's good for one or two nights.
Great location great value
cgarsonon 21/10/2016 08:39If you want to stay in a 14 century villa at a great value AND walking distance to quaint town here you go! We actually chose the small addition room solely for brightness and its own patio! The other rooms are much larger!!
The back private yard is lovely with evening sun and great view.
Breakfast was ample AND they offer EGGS
Not 5 star but an Awesome value and the people assisting you from front desk to kitchen are very sweet! Meet their wee pup Gusto shy and adorable !! Enjoy
Visit to Wine Country
Nona Won 28/09/2016 22:26Lovely small hotel. Large rustic room and lovely breakfast each morning. Alessandra is a thoughtful and accommodating host. Beautiful location, they even have a pool. Shower no bath, limited amenities but lots of charm. Easy to reach restaurants for dinner only a short walk away.
