Varanavasi Ron 01/02/2017 14:08It is a nice place to stay at Belur. Room tariff is very low. No issues. Hot running water facilities available. Restaurant is open only during after noon and night. No complimentary breakfast. Overall I was very happy in staying there for a day.

Vegetarian Food supplied a great treat.
Really a cool place to visit enjoy Belur and Halebid. Two days went like a flash visiting these twin towns of stone architecture marvels.
Travelled to Belur, did not plan properly and we had to stay somewhere in Belur, stayed here
upendragowdaon 06/05/2016 13:49We had went to Belur to visit the temple, it was very hot and unfortunately this regency has only 2 A/C rooms which were full, please plan before going, unless you might end up suffering in the hotel.
There is actually a very nice govt run guest house which was full and we had to look for this place, the hotel is quite nice but pretty old.
They have not maintained the rooms so well, we could locate and kill 2 or 3 cockroaches in our room. It was also not so clean.
Rooms are not spacious either, they have very basic facilities, no 24/7 hot water service, hot water only available till 7 to 9 am.
Not so tidy place, the parking is very confined and its very hard to park or remove the vehicle.
But the only advantage is its very close to the temple and you can almost walk to the temple on a early morning.
Food is also available in the ground floor, but we did not try and hence can't comment on that.

esjay_inon 29/03/2016 10:47We were informed that this is one of the good hotels in Belur. However, the standard of the hotel is very very poor. Only advantage is that it is located close to the temple. Quality of the food is also bad.
stopped for lunch - avg food, stinky loos
vnagalon 27/03/2016 13:19Stopped by for lunch travelling from Bangalore to Chikmagaluru. We were a group of 4 with a 3 year old boy. The place is close to temple which is good but of little consequence for us. The meals on offer were decent though nothing special. The service was poor given that we were only one of the two tables occupied. The loos were not as clean as they should have been and had a little stench to it which made the whole experience poor.
