kvmishraon 29/08/2017 07:56An excellent property coupled with outstanding service standards of Taj group. It's one of the best property of Taj to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy ( & even to meditate!). Surroundings are unspoilt and truly amidst natural settings.
Rooms are spacious.
Resturants/ eating places are beauty in itself. Pool & Spa services are perfect. Just book Spa appointment in time !
Some people may find little difficult or may feel uncomfortable reaching the hotel property from main town of Madikeri, but it's worth it ! The moment you reach hotel reception , you are in another world. Just ensure that you follow hotel advice about the route to their property and just avoid Google Map😊

Food was as good as we have had anywhere in India it was beautiful.
Unfortunately due to the weather we couldn't do some of the activities so we will have to go back.
Thank you for really going out of your way to make my 50th birthday a weekend to really remember.
Truly amazing Luxurious Rain forest Resort
GuddatiCSon 27/08/2017 17:20Visited the resort during end of 1st week August during the Monsoons for 3N 4D stay. This amazing Luxurious resort property by Taj is located in the rain forest and with rain, the forest is alive and it is a true paradise. Could not express our words - Please do check few of my photos which I managed to upload. The property is absolutely fantastic. The staff were amazing, very polite and extremely helpful catering to all our needs. The communication started a week before our arrival through mails, guiding us on how to reach the property - very helpful tips on the mail -- much appreciated. We were received with a beautiful smile, much refreshing Coorg coffee, smooth check-in. My upgrade voucher was honored without any issues, and to our surprise, we were given a double upgrade to Premium indulgence for one family for all 3N and our famlily had Pool Villa booking for 2 Nights, so the double upgrade was given for us for 1N -- Truly marvelous and a beautiful gesture from the resort -- We truly appreciate. Everything about the resort is amazing and the all the staff we encountered took very good care of us. We tried Fern Tree restaurant, the grill - Very good. All the buggy rides to move around the property were on time.. In-room dining was a very good experience. No words to explain for the beautiful private plunge pool in the Lux Bliss Villa.....Infinity pool with Jacuzzis overlooking the property is a must try - truly amazing .. Wet areas (Sauna, steam - should try)-- Jiva Spa - a must try - Ms.Jocelyn at the Spa was very helpful & therapists are amzing, Activities -- Nishani HIke & Rain Forest Walk - Amazing and recommended- However I do not recommend the rain Forest Walk for Old people who will have difficulties to walk as the last half Kilometer is very very slippery and muddy (Need special mention of Mr.Mahesh & Mr.Pradhan of activity center) who provided good guidance and help throughout - All the staff needs good appreciation and thanks to Vivanta by Taj - Madikeri team for making our visit a memorable one-- We are definitely looking forward to visit this property in future again - Kudos to the entire team

Akash Gon 26/08/2017 05:41This is a beautiful property in trhe woods. Very nice staff, great views from cottages and good food. If you are looking to get away from city life and relax....this is a must do.
Kids enjoyed jip line....
