luevzaon 27/06/2017 07:32A friendly and nice welcome we had, when we arrived the place. The information about Winterthur have been helpful and the employee gave us a prospect and a map of the town.
The room was o.k. as they use to be already in earlier years.
The breakfast was varied and for me there was also raw vegetable, which I like so much in the morning.
We even could have had e-bikes, if it would have been helpful for transport.
The hotel gave discount because of our visiting the Karls-Kühne-Gassenschau event. Al in all the hotel was a good choice. And the advantage is the near situated railway station.
very small single room
KennyTanTwon 13/06/2017 08:41Location is very good near by the Winterthur train station and big supermarkets. Room is clean and quiet. The disadvantage is I had a very small compact single room which provides a very small desk about 45cm x 45cm for placing luggage.

Closed windows kept noise from the street outside.

Bronisława Non 12/06/2017 11:15The hotel is very well located, opposite the train station, close to the bus stops. The rooms are big and very well equipped with a tasty breakfast. Free tickets for public transport in Winterthur. Reception staff very helpful and polite. Lovely place.

Judy Pon 04/06/2017 02:33We stayed at this hotel while in Winterthur, Switzerland. Hands down it was one of the best places we stayed while in Europe. The price was reasonable (for Switzerland). The room was spacious, super clean and quiet. Amazing breakfast included. A coffee bar for evening tea or coffee. Fre, sh fruit for the taking. Free bus tickets or use of the power assisted bicycles. Close to the train station and a very good restaurant next door.
Very helpful staff, especially Thomas who always had a friendly greeting upon return from an adventure. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
