Worst accommodation
iindiaSep2013on 27/11/2016 17:45Avoid this place. It is horrible. Not a resort.. For food.. just they will charge double to fill the pockets. Rooms are stinking. It's a tough night stay in this place.
Nothing special here. Huts beside roods are far better
This is just a homestay and not a resort..Please avoid.
M0fion 20/11/2016 18:19I had visited Wayanad and this place along with my family and friends last month. We decided to book our accommodation at this place based on the review comments/ratings and the photos posted online. They were charging just more than 3100 per night inclusive taxes and breakfast. We were super excited but when we reached this place, it was just a shock. Firstly I was wondering how one can even call it a resort. It was in the middle of a paddy field and way far far away from the happening places of Wayanad. We were one of the 2 more families who were staying there at that point of time and I could make out why it is so. Here are my few observations:
1. Almost 7 KMs or more from any nearest town of Wayanad. So can't have food from outside/popular restaurants whenever you want.
2. 30-40 KMs away from all important destinations/tourist spots other than Muthanga Forest
3. No facilities in the so called resort other than the accommodation.
4. Free breakfast is all south Indian single dishes like Idli, Dosa, Appam, Puttu
5. Lunch/Dinner is also with limited option. No buffet system as there is no crowd.
6. No entertainment option. TV doesn't work and power goes off now and then.
7. No indoor games/night life. Either you stay outside roaming in the town or be in the room when you are in this so called resort.
8. Pathetic room and room service. Got torn towels and broken dustbin in the bathroom.
9. Never ending cockroaches everywhere. It was a nightmare for us with a kid and eatables. Had to buy a 'Hit' spray.
10. Showers in the bathroom doesn't work and the bath tub was of no use.
11. They always ask for cash and no option for card payment. It was just a scam.
So overall, I would never recommend this place and stay away even if you get this accommodation in dirt cheap rate.
Terrible Terrible experience
rohith non 20/11/2016 17:23Stayed at the hotel on Oct 30-31. It was terrible experience. Om first look everything looked okay. There was TV, the room was neat, bed was done etc. But when we tried to switch on the TV it did not work. When asked, the boy there said that the TV is not working and they are changing all the TVs to LCD. We were fine as we came to enjoy the place and TV was not something we were interested in. We tried to charge our phones but none of the plug points work properly. There was a mosquito repellent machine but even that was not properly working because of the switch board. The regulator of the fan was not proper. The worst was the towel in the bathroom. The towel was torn and dirty and when asked to change they asked us to "adjust" with it as they have run out of towels. This was not the hospitality expected from a resort which costs Rs. 3500/- PER DAY. The food was also not that great.We had booked for three days but the facilities and the hospitality of the people were so bad that we decided to leave the next day itself. And when we were checking out the lady started complaining that we lost guests because of you as you had booked for three days. She didnt even have the courtesy to realize her mistake. I would never recommend this resort to anybody. If you want to have a decent holiday with family i would suggest PLZ DONT GO to this resort.
