Small Quiet Hotel
fishlover22on 27/11/2016 20:50Small quiet hotel with a small lobby. Average sized rooms. Wifi was very weak in the rooms so we had to come down to the lobby to be connected. It had a swiss restaurant in the hotel which also served as the breakfast room. This hotel is just okay located near the city center. The river and the shops were a 10 minute walk away.
Great location, walking distance to the middle of town.

Family run and they did a great breakfast with fresh produce which was delicious. Our dinner was homemade and very much appreciated. They had ice facilities for the rooms for free and they were very hospitable at all times. Can't fault the location. Perfect!

AdarZon 20/10/2016 11:39The best thing about this place is the restaurant. the rooms are old and tired, beds not super comfortable. you have to pay for parking even though they don't tell you that when you book.. it's not super central but a short walking distance to everything interesting

MrsWhittison 02/10/2016 21:43My husband and I stayed here. This hotel was very nice! It was walking distance to everything in Lucerne! The hotel was well taken care of so it was clean, the rooms were updated and staff were pleasant! We had a room that looked onto the street and the only issue is there is a restaurant bar next door and sometime during the night the drunks were making their way out and making lots of noise (singing, talking loudly etc.) It only lasted about 10 minutes when we finally heard a staff member address it and they either left or were quiet. Like I said this is a lovely hotel and I would recommend this place and would come back if we stayed in Lucerne again!
Cute and comfortable hotel with restaurant
ChspkeGirl65on 01/10/2016 19:21My husband and I stayed one night at the Weinhof with our tour group. It is in a very quiet neighborhood not too far from the river. The room was clean and bed was comfortable even though it was basically 2 singles pushed together. It has very fluffy duvet covers. The room was not too small and the bathroom was OK even though it did not have much counter space. Only one outlet that we found though in the bathroom to charge all of our devices. They had Wi-fi apparently but I could not even get the network to come up for me to choose. Others in our group said they were not able to connect and some that did said it was very slow. We had a group dinner and breakfast in the restaurant that had very good food. They still used old style actual keys to the rooms and we were told to not lose them or we would be billed for it. All in all, it was a very nice stay for the one night we were there.
