This place is great I had the top flat over looking some breath taking views . Would come back again. But it could do with some updating and a shower installed . Apart from that very clean and comfy.
Very good location and not to far from motorway for easy access .

This is an nice B&B. The best rooms are on the top floor with lots of space and a sofa to watch TV. Very clean and welcoming. Breakfast is very nice . The downfall is that the owner does seem a little disinterested. However at the price it is worth staying at

It was a clean, well appointed room but the hosts, unfortunately,weren't very welcoming. At least one of them had forgotten that we had booked for our two dogs as well and expressed near 'horror' when we said we had them with us. Despite having mentioned that we would be staying with two large, elderly and well behaved dogs we were put in a room right at the top of the house and had to climb three flights of stairs to reach it.When we were asked what time we wanted breakfast, the hostes replied that she didn't do anything after 9am in a most dogmatic manner. It was a good breakfast and we enjoyed it but being made to feel welcome counts for a lot. We wouldn't stay here again.

We loved staying at the well view.

My Husband and I stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights and we have nothing to complain about. . The evening menu was so varied and cooked to perfection, we both enjoyed every course. We were often spoilt with homemade goodies on our return from our walks which went beyond what we paid for, so again for us we would recommend this hotel to anyone. The dogs only barked that we noticed was first thing in the morning when people went down to dinner or breakfast and it was more like a welcome bark then a nasty one. The room that was given to us was cleaned immaculately .

Clean but disapointing

Location good, room nice, breakfast very disapointing. Smallest, tasteless egg, plastic left on very small piece of black pudding, had been looking forward to a typical generous Scottish breakfast but we were very disappointed,host not really interested in conversing, Dogs all over, yapping late at night. Not good value for money. Very disappointed, we had looked at previous reviews and thought okay but for us it was not. If you like dogs all over, tasteless breakfast, and host. Not really interested in you then this is the place for you. Moffat is a lovely town, hotel is lovely building but sadly lacking in personality and definetly will not return.
