Lovely boutique hotel on the quiet street of Czestochowa. Close to the city centre and to the shopping centre.
Immaculately clean, with friendly staff and good breakfast choice.
Comfortable beds and big, bright bathroom with all needed toiletries.
Parking can be full, but you can also park on the street in front of the hotel.
Recommended.

Hotel Wenecki

Located near Częstochowa train station, be sure  you don't confuse  with Częstochowa  Stardom. Room and bathroom decent size. Small cube shaped shower. Amenities are limited. No air conditioning  and elevators.
About 20 minutes to Jasna Gora. Hotel is ok for a short stay.

Let me start. I work have worked in hotels for nearly 30 years. If you read my other reviews-I do not leave negative reviews, usually and this is one of the times I can not be positive. Problem started at check in. I booked for 2 nights and they only had it for one night. I was informed that I may have to change hotels the next night and that I would need to come back later to find out where I might need to go. All hotels book out, I have booked people up many time in London. I have never told anyone that they could stay one night and then move somewhere else the next night. My colleague had booked my room via the owner directly, this caused me great concern. We arrived at about 9am--we knew the rooms would not be ready so we parked out car and went around town. At about 9pm, after not getting any info from the hotel I told them I was not willing to move hotels. I am not sure if the receptionist understood. They did not speak good English. At 9am the second day I was told that I could stay and they of course charged me right away. That night we are in the restaurant. My colleague spoke Polish so he order for me, him and his girlfriend. His food came after about 20 minutes, after about an hour me and his girlfriend were still waiting for our food. When we called for the waitress she admitted she misunderstood the order--if I had ordered it I could understand--but my friend who was born in Poland ordered the food. We finally got our food and the waitress showed us a bottle of red wine. We had ordered beers and my friends girlfriend order lemon water. So we declined the wine. The next day when we checked out and were in the car, the receptionist came running to our car asking us to pay for the wine we did not consume. This was a perfect ending to a disastrous stay.

Reasonable budget hotel near the main route up to the Sanctuary

Got a good rate on a triple room with additional bed into which we fitted two adults two teenagers and two under-fives. Room and bathroom were fine - private free parking inside hotel courtyard.

No lift and we were on second floor but a minor gripe. Staircase was wide and easily negotiable.

Breakfast was a reasonable range but a little pricey by Polish standards (ie make sure you are hungry enough to get your money's worth).

Parrot in hotel reception was an added bonus.

Nice, but Noisy Hotel

Located in an ideal location, it was only a short walk to the Jasna Góra Monastery. Our room was small, but clean; however, the walls were paper thin, as we were awakened a few times during the night by guests who were staying in the next room. The bathroom was very modern, but also somewhat small. It was nice to have adequate secure parking in the rear; however, the spaces were very tight.

We had dinner in their restaurant and were pleased with our meal. Breakfast was also satisfactory. An added attraction was a parrot in the lobby who kept talking until they moved him to one of the back rooms. Very different!

Overall, a decent hotel in an ideal location.
