Fab place to stay
Ardluion 08/04/2017 10:02Weekend away with the girls! Fantastic location right in the heart of things, car park around the back so parking no problem. The reception and attention of staff was 5 star! The place has a very special feel about it and as for the apartment, superb. Nothing else you could have asked for, two fabulous bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen, dinning, living space and wonderful balcony. Only down side I can think of is that the apartment was so fantastic that we didn't want to go out! So much better than a hotel room for a group and less expensive.
Better than a hotel
Paul Gon 20/03/2017 14:34First things first. The website clearly shows two adults and a child could be accommodated in the luxury apartment. They can't, it's only only one double bed and it's quite high, which of course my 6 year old fell out of! For that reason I can't give 5 stars.
The reception was very nice and welcoming with a friendly member of staff. The apartment itself was immaculate with everything you could need for a stay! There's a decent view from the balcony and it was nice to see the sun go down.
Settling down to sleep was a bit of a chore with three of us in the bed. The noise from outside was pretty intrusive when all the clubs kicked out.
If your going as a couple or alone, great place to stay and ideally placed. For a family, I'm not so sure.

Perfect place for an extended stay in Dundee
susiespyon 31/12/2016 05:13I stayed at the Westport apartments for a month while working at the university of Dundee. The apartment
itself was spacious and well furnished with a small but completely stocked kitchen. There was maid service daily which consisted of cleaning the kitchen and bath areas. Fresh linens and towels were provided weekly, which was a bit odd. But the staff was wonderful, in spite of one slightly lecherous older man who I'm told no longer works there. Drew and his staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and I would recommend the Westport apartments to anyone staying in Dundee.
Top notch
ILP-JPon 15/12/2016 23:15I much prefer these self-catering apartments to the traditional hotel these days, but they can be a bit pricey. Not so here. Under £100 per night for a fantastic suite with views of the Tay and the active passing scene below. Everything to hand and free, fast wi-fi included. It could have done with some power points near the seating or a desk for working at, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Warm welcome and the "Key to the City" on arrival!
