Comfortable and Relaxing

Two nights stay in the middle of a month touring in Western Canada. We needed a couple of days to relax and we certainly did in this beautiful location by the lakeside.

Len and Maureen were excellent hosts and Maureen's food was fantastic; wholesome local produce to die for.

The bed was really comfy and the bathroom and kitchen facilities were excellent; we particularly enjoyed the use of the BBQ to cook some local beef steaks.

We particularly enjoyed the beach and the fire pit; our first evening we spent drinking wine, warming our toes and watching the sun go down-bliss!

I booked this location because Maureen and Len offer guests the use of canoes and my husband was itching to make use of one even though the weather was not ideal. We spent some time on the lake in pouring rain but we could still marvel at the spectacular scenery and wildlife (we saw an Osprey on a nest and I saw one dive into the lake for a fish).

Two night stay in the middle of September. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Great host and absolutely fantastic breakfasts! Just off the highway so conveniently located to get to all of the attractions of Kootenay Lake.

Perfect Beach side sanctuary

Beautiful self contained suites with wonderfully comfortable beds and top class bathroom suites. Lovely details make this a perfect choice for us. We enjoyed the beautiful sandy beach, the fire pit and canoe availability. Our hosts were friendly and very accommodating to any requests. Breakfast was served on our deck and we enjoyed both a full cooked breakfast and the continental option. Could not have faulted either. We will be back to enjoy this lovely B and B on the shores of the beautiful West Arm.

We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts over the year's and this one ranks as one of the best. The location is superb... quiet, private sandy beach a short drive from Nelson. The room was very clean and well equipped (we stayed in the Moose suite)... and the hosts were fantastic. Knowledgeable about the area and quick to answer any questions. Breakfasts were served right outside your door on a private deck with a view of the ocean... We will definitely be back!!

Beach side retreat!

Willow Point Beach B and B is a delightful place to stay. Len and Maureen were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Moose suite, which had a bedroom area, shower room, lounge and kitchenette, home from home! Breakfast was delivered to our rooms with the option of eating inside or out on the deck, weather permitting. Nelson was a very vibrant interesting town with many historic buildings and a great market. Great place, great people and a truly great time. Try it.
