Chitownbuckeye5on 29/08/2017 05:56The actual room and bathroom as not the best. The furniture was outdated and sheets on the bed were not the best. The bathroom had cracks in the tub and ceiling and shower curtain had rust on it. They try to charge you for extra pillow and towels, which in my opinion is ridiculous.
One plus-AC worked great!
The hotel itself- pool area is beautiful and relaxing. Swim up bars and towel service was nice!The spa was nice and so cheap when visiting from the USA. Location was great as we could walk to the beach and tons of restaurants and shops (but that's most hotels in Kuta)
The staff- I have mixed reviews. Housekeeping seemed great- came every day and our room was fresh and clean when we returned from our days out. Front desk overall was helpful until we checked out and they tried to charge us for a call to Chile, were from the USA and no one is chile. They then tried to have my husband sign a bill with the charges after they agreed not to charge us as my husband fought this. If I had a choice I probably wouldn't stay here again as there are so many other hotels out there.
Still a very nice homely place ; returned after 3 years

Plus:
- Balinese style
- Big hotel, but not to massive.
- Superb location next to Kuta Centre and the beach => entering the hotel you leave busy Kuty and enter the relaxing hotel
- 2 pools
- good breakfast
- very very friendly staff
- Clean rooms and spacious verandas
Points of attention;
- Some rooms, and especially the bathrooms, are dated. BUT; the hotel is renovating room by room at the moment. Nevertheless; the rooms ar clean!
5 nights stay for surfing and sun bathing
Maarten Son 14/08/2017 12:44Wina is excellent located and a pretty well kept basic hotel. The pool, rooms and breakfast are ok.
Some remarks: bathroom is old, towels for the pool are provided with labourious admin, music at pool and restaurant differ so you hear 2, towels are spotted, breakfast ends with hard stop at 10.
Awesome Place to Unwind
jitendra ron 10/08/2017 21:18We were delighted at the location of the resort.Just 100 Meters awy from the Kuta beach and well connected with everything the traveller required.Everything insde was delighting the unique style cottage the restaurant and the swimming pool .But one thing was missing ,No Indian cuisine available and we had to rely on the Malaysian Cuisene
Gone Downhill since last visit

Cons: old sheets/towels, poor flushing toilet, some unfriendly staff, sub standard breakfast with same old food every day - nice pastries last year but none this year, renovations being done atm so noisy, renovations being done on next door land, poor wifi in & out all the time, back pool needs renovation, only 3 pillows between 2 people & if you want another one it's 10,000 rp per day!, power points loose (dangerous?), rotten smells from drains throughout the property (we were lucky this time it was not in our room!)
Pros: location, pretty gardens, good air con, room service quick & food was ok
Will definitely NOT return. There are much better hotel choices nearby for similar price Eg: Adi Dharma or Fourteen Roses where we have also stayed. That's the bottom line.
There should be NON Smoking areas throughout ANY hotel for those of us who are sick and tired of inadvertently forced to be passive smokers. Smokers can be so inconsiderate.
