The Resort is perfectly located just besides the hills and is well maintained. The Breakfast was sumptuous and tasty. Enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to Travellers who are looking for a serene place in Mysuru !

The Room and Location is excellent The room service was also excellent even at night. The food served was very tasty and good. The spa offers many different types of treatments. The Yoga class is also very good and helpful

Needs renovation

So I decided for a short trip to Mysore from Chennai. Since windflower Resort I have tried many times before I was confident of a great stay. But when I reached it was a disappointment.

First impression, security guard was just standing and didn't bother to guide us where is the reception.

At reception, not a very warm welcome. No welcome drink and face towel were provided unless I have asked.

Rooms which were given was out of order room no glass door in shower cubicle, two separate beds joined each other, bathroom hardly any amenities. I immediately asked to change.

No one guided about the property unless j have asked and Accomodation Manager was kind enough to show me around.

Restaurant staff is good and know their job. Good food but only issue it's a la carte . Overall property needs to improve a lot on maintenance.

I was not very satisfied. But yes enjoyed since was with my family. Really liked the cultural performances.

Kindly improve your upkeep and staff attentiveness.

Good resort at a nice location

The windflower Mysore is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located at the foothills of Chamundi, this is a large and well maintained resort. The Olive Garden restaurant attached to the resort is a tad expensive but offers a good range of delicious cuisines. The staff at the restaurant offer quick service are professional.
Most of the rooms we had booked as group were good except the villas. While the villa itself spacious and has an indoor splash pool but is not maintained very well. The room was partially flooded due to rain. The front desk was not in any mood to take this feedback or least offer an apology.
There are very few activities within the resort such as swimming pool, badminton but not in the lines of Windflower Bangalore.
The parking area could be improved as cars are usually squeezed in the limited space and moving in/out was a bit annoying
Overall, a good resort with some chinks if fixed could make this an excellent place.

We stayed here for 1 night with friends.The best part of the resort are the huge rooms that
Pleasently surprised us that oversee a small water body on one side and a small garden on the other. Rooms were well appointed with nothing to complain.. Food options were great and fairly economical , however the chinese food was the best tasting of all that we tried. Breakfast buffet was lavish as well. The mysore zoo was .5 km from here so great place if you like to visit the zoo with fam/friends/ kids. The only down side would be the resort size- relatively smaller compared to many other resorts we have stayed earlier- overall a very good stay for a week end!
