Trip to the White Mountains

Woodward Resort is an ideal location to explore this majestic area. The hotel has good amenities and is reasonably priced. The room we were allocated was at the rear of the property with plentiful parking. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools, fitness room, free WiFi and full restaurant facility and a separate facility.

I recently stayed with my two boys for the second year in a row, and I plan on going back again. The staff is fantastic and the food was very good. I've seen other reviews about the place needing updating and other negatives, but for the money the rooms and the overall facility are perfectly in-line with what you'd expect and more than acceptable. The overall experience however when you factor in everything is truly exceptional for the reasonable price of the stay. Thank you Woodward's for another great vacation, and I hopefully see you again next year.

Stayed here on several occasions, both during the ski season & summer months. Offers a great base to explore Loon & Cannon Mountains, whilst during the summer months is a wonderful mountain retreat. Rooms are functional and spacious. Staff welcoming. Pools a nice bonus. Steakhouse is awesome!!

Hotel room stinks and dirty

We stayed there for 2 nights and knowing that I was not expecting a 5 start hotel. But boy, when I entered the room, the room stinks and has a kind of moldy smell. The AC keeps going on and off and it was so loud. The restroom was also dirty. The bed sheet felt itchy and the blanket was dirty as well. Then the next morning, the cleaning lady did not even manage to clean the bathroom well. There was still water on the sink and hair left on the floor. I swear I left a good tip! There was also bugs in the room...I will never come back..It sucks...

We stayed here on timeshare points and we were able to get a great deal. I was very hesitant because of the reviews. We checked in and the staff was very friendly. We were put in the resort area, which I was glad for because the worst reviews I have seen have been about the inn. The room was not as bad as I was expecting, but it was not good either. There was a hole open in the ceiling in the corner which we tried covering with the panel, but could not get it to cover completely. The room had a mildew smell, we sprayed a few times but it would not go away. The bathroom floor was dirty and the shower head needed to be replaced. The bed was fairly comfortable. None of us would shower there, so event though we were booked for 3 nights we only stayed for 1 night. We did visit the pool areas and they seemed nice. There is a basketball net and a game room as well. They have a restaurant there, but we did not try it. It needs a serious renovation and a better housekeeping staff.
