VERY convenient to Mass General
NiskayunaJoanon 16/08/2017 20:13I had an unexpected extended stay here while my son was in Mass General Hospital. It was so convenient when I left the hospital late at night to be able to just walk down the street to the hotel. The room was plenty big and comfortable enough. There were a few little annoying things that could have made it better. The ice machine right outside my room was broken the entire time, the remote control for the TV didn't work well, the outlet next to the bed was too big for some reason and my phone charger kept falling out. The pool looked like a lot of fun and having Whole Foods right next door was amazing.
Not the best but not the worst
Mauro Son 16/08/2017 10:51Very good position to visit the city. Rooms are not big but clean. In the hall there is a problem with the near restaurant (lot of food smell). Good variety of services like parking and room service. From the hotel it's easy visit the city center
Average at best
Jim Ron 15/08/2017 19:49We came to Boston for a family vacation. After discussing in with American Express Platinum Travel we decided to book at the Wyndham.
There wasn't anything terrible about the hotel but there isn't anything special about it either. The hotel is clearly dated and in need of serious renovations. The rooms were average and again, very dated.
The food was decent in the restaurants and well priced (kids had a buffet breakfast for $6.95 ea). The staff was friendly enough and helpful when needed.
We had four kids that were very excited to swim in the pool after a long day of sightseeing only to find the pool not heated and too cold to swim in. There was also no jacuzzi which was disappointing.
The hotel is centrally located so that is a positive if you are there to sightsee. It is reasonable priced so if you are on a budget it could be good choice.
I was looking for something nicer so I was disappointed. But if you are looking for a value, and you keep your expectations in line, it is a fair choice. For my money though, I would make a difference choice.
Great place to stay in Boston, very good location
Morningsonne3on 14/08/2017 22:16Great location, very close to the blue and red line T stations. We checked in at 9am hoping to just park the car and leave our bags. But when we parked the car we learned that they were going to upgrade our room and fully check us in! What a great surprise. It made our trip in more convenient. The room was great, we had a nice view, very clean and lovely. The hotel check-in desk staff were kind and helpful.
Boston Beacon Hill Hotel
Angelam1016on 14/08/2017 21:29Recently stayed at the Wyndham while in Boston with family visiting the local colleges and universities. Overall the experience at the hotel was great. The hotel is close to many restaurants, local shops, and the local transit. The valet cost is quite high at $43.00 per day but as I found with what seemed to be everywhere in Boston - you have to pay for parking.
The room was clean and the service by the staff was great. Will recommend and stay again in the future.
