I had visited Marigold ridge recently with my family.

Pros

1. Rooms with balconies are the best. Being a member, I was made a take a room without balcony and the room was very bad. Fortunately, they changed the room for me after my request. Thankful to them.
2. Swimming pool was good
3. Room service
4. Faulty bulb was replaced instantly. Service was good.

Cons

1. Food is priced very very high. Un imaginable price considering the hotel star rating. I feel they are taking advantage of no quality restaurants in yelagiri. I did order once but the food quality was not up to what they charge. It was just okay. In room dining menu does not have many varieties.

2. Lawn area was smelly after the rain. I know it's under maintenance but they could have at least cleaned it since people are staying.

Its overrated !

Could have been much better ! itt gives a feel of staying in some service appartments which It people take on rent in cities like pune or blore. pool is ok ! food is expensive and ok! only one plus point was that rooms were huge !

We went to Yelagiri in January 2017. It is situated in a good location. The rooms were of average size and were clean.The housekeeping staff were very good and immediately responded to our requests. But the front desk staff were not so polite or concerned and told us that complimentary breakfast was not available since it is not provided to those who have membership. We were really surprised at this. The parking space was quite far off from the resort.There was very less open space around the building.

Hotel was at a good location, room size was good, average in cleanliness of the shower area. There were insects in the room, so hotel could plan for some prevention of this given that they charge quite high for the rooms. Need to provide better soaps and toiletries for the cost. In general, found that there was a lot of crowd at the resort and the corridors were not always maintained clean. They don't offer wi-fi yet in the rooms. Wifi at the reception area is quite slow. Food taste was good, but can be improved.

Overall its a decent place. property is not huge. its more like a building structure. open space is not available unlike other sterling properties . Its a small property so you don't get the feel of resort. However looks like one of the best places'to stay in yelagiri.
Preferably take a room on higher floors. ground floor room face the open structure where you have pool and badminton court.
Guys you have to improve on landscape it really disappointing to see things not being maintained and it stinks on the ground level the drain water is all around the garden and badminton area. rooms are quite spacious but again no microwave .food is expensive . fun activities are less.
