Lisa Son 29/06/2017 00:59We stayed at the Yellow House for the first time as well as visiting Bar Harbor for the first time. Pat and Chris were very friendly, courteous and helpful pointing out great restaurants and places in Acadia to visit. The house was immaculate and the breakfast everyday was out of this world. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. The best part about it is that you can park your car and get to everything by foot. The restaurants, shopping and boats are all within walking distance.

Richard Hon 26/06/2017 21:00If you're looking for a great place to stay while in Bar Harbor, look no further. Yellow House is a charming B&B with all the comforts of home! Chris and Pat are gracious hosts and are always ready with ideas for a great day of activities. The wrap around porch, and it's rocking chairs, are an inviting place to unwind before dinner. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The location is perfect! Close enough to the village so you can walk everywhere, yet just hidden enough to avoid the hustle if you choose.
This B&B has something for everyone. We have enjoyed staying here and will return again!

Brad Lon 11/06/2017 22:05an excellent place to stay. The location is great. Right off the Main Street but you do not hear any of the traffic. The rooms are very spacious and were immaculately clean. The owners of the property are very nice and take the time to explain all the best places to visit on the island.

Excellent location, a short walk to center of town, reasonable rates for the area, helpful Hosts.
Not so good: Some of the furnishingc, fittings and rooms are looking a little worn and jaded. Breakfasts, although plentiful, but with little choice.
Very cozy, clean, and convenient location!

The location is located in the heart of Bar Harbor so restaurants, shops, parks and the harbor with beautiful ocean/mountain views are all within short walking distance. The owners, Chris and Pat, are very kind, sweet, and hospitable. Our bedroom was upstairs and it was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was cooked fresh daily and complimentary wine was available in the early evening. There is a cozy fireplace and wrap around porch with ample wicker chair seating. Although located centrally, it is tucked away for privacy, peace and quiet. Acadia National Park is also about 10 minutes away by vehicle. We would stay there again!
