Its cheap. Breakfast is good and tasty but didnt have much menu. Staff is kind and friendly. Check in and check out is fast. Room is comfy and spacious. Theres a sofa inside the room. I got a room in 6th floor and the view up there is beautiful. The bathroom is clean, I dont have much trouble with the hot water, but the amenities just available for 1 person so I have to asked for more and it is charged. Overall is good, I would like to visit again.

I already stayed in Zodiak Hotel in two different cities. But only in Yogyakarta this hotel provide swimming pool with the lower price than the others.
The room is big and clean enough and with the price range between Rp. 200.000-Rp. 300.000 yoh already got breakfast for two persons. Although the taste was so so, but the have assorted menus.
The swimming pool located at second floor and formed as a pool with balcony. So you can look Yogyakarta city during you swim time. But the water was cold enough when you swim in the morning.
The distance between this hotel and Malioboro street is about 1 km, you can rent three wheels bicycle (becak) and paid around Rp. 20.000-25.000

Booked through traveloka, it was a nice experience during 1 night stay. Arrived at 10 in the morning, we need to wait until 2 to check in and get a room. Good for us, we rented a bike before we touched jogja. So we went around before do the check in. We back at 12 and the reception said our room were ready, great. The lady in reception told us to keep our bike key in front office in case they need to move the bike for a space in parking area. Our room with window facing the main street, with a balcony but not allowed to open the connector slide window from our room to the balcony. Weird.

Overall, the room was perfect for couple, wide bathroom and shower, but with noisy air con that need minutes to made the room cold and cozy. We really like the roof top restaurant. Great experienced in this hotel!

Dirty Pool & Unfriendly Check-in Clerk.

I made last-minute booking from booking.com. My check-in wasn't nice experience as the Front Desk Staff needed to smile a bit. Pool was nice but it's a little dirty, slippery bottom, unclear water and somehow contain sand. I didn't purchase breakfast but I guess it's okay if I don't experience breakfast in Zodiac. There's nothing special about their room.

Stayed there last week for 4 nights, i had a bad impression of this hotel. One of our room #306 had a broken door frame near the door lock, there was a hole so people can see inside the room or even can open the door with a screwdriver or something.à Called the reception to change the room, they said that they will repair and fix it because no more room available due to full house. I refused and insist the room changed. After some talks they said to move the room for one night only and had to move again the next day. What is this? I expect to have a relaxing time after long trip and didnt want to waste my time to do unpacking and packing our luggage again.. finally they found another room for me. This could not be happened if the hotel management decided not to sell the room Which condition was not proper to sell! Out of order room. do not think about getting more money but unsatisfying the customer.. and please do concern about security and safety for the guest.
Breakfast was poor. Not much choice and slow refill. Bath towel was torn.. just like very old one.. and i dont think they changed the duvet cover. I expect to have changed at least 2 times of my 4 night staying..
