Daniela Son 12/11/2017 11:32The hotel is very good. The location is great and the shower is awesome!!!! The only problem is that I was at the 1st floor and I could hear all the noises in the street. I woke up late at night because people were screaming in front of the hotel. If you go there, just ask for a higher floor.

bazjson 04/11/2017 17:32Ideal location only about 10 minutes from the railway station and 10 minutes from the city centre. Reception staff gave excellent restaurant recommendations, and helped with the storage of a wheelchair. Room was warm and clean with tea and coffee facilities, safe and mini bar also, but didn't use it. The shower was very powerful. Chocolate and slippers left by the bed. Breakfast was very good, great selection, tea and coffee via a self service machine. Breakfast is 10 euros well spent as didn't need to eat until the evening!

Good Room and excellent breakfast
Meg Lon 28/10/2017 03:51Stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Room was clean and tidy. Quiet room, Spacious bathroom and very good breakfast. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi shower. Yes it's a Jacuzzi shower, not Jacuzzi bath. 15 minutes walk to the Piazza Bra and 15 minutes walk to the train station. There were kettle, tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was important to me to have a cup of tea before breakfast.
However, some of the staff at reception didn’t seem so friendly.
would have been more stars except for getting stuck in the lift!
iliasmavon 23/10/2017 18:16This is a clean comfortable hotel 10 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the Piazza Bra and Arena so near the heart of everything. We walked everywhere in Verona and found the hotel very well placed indeed.
The bedroom was excellent although the pillows are a but hard for my taste. The bed itself was good although not particularly soft, but I slept well only to have a bad neck from the pillows the next day!
The shower and the jacuzzi were fine. Some may find it a little strange but we enjoyed both.
The air conditioning tended to have a mind of its own . Open a window and it stopped. The temperature control was to my mind "interesting" and in no way perfect.
The television was a disappointment to English speakers. Whilst there were loads of Italian channels as you would expect, and German as well, the English channels were BBC World News, France 24 in English, Russia today and Al Jazzera apart from CNN CNBC and Bloomberg. Oh, and a channel which was obviously screening Chinese propaganda constantly.A little light relief would have been nice!
Why it is beyond the management to realise that there are a lot of English speaking guests who would actually like to watch tv but not news news news or propaganda?
The free wifi was a joke. It didn't work very well at all and you had to get a new password and username( all numbers and letters) from reception very day. Why can't the hotel have a username being the name of the guest and the password being the room number? Not beyond the technical ability of people surely?
Breakfast down in the basement was good value at 20 euros. Not the most exciting ever, but plenty of choice and worth going to instead of hunting for a restaurant first thing in the morning.
Our main problem was the lift.
Going down to breakfast 3 of us were stuck just above the -1 floor( there is also -2) The doors wouldn't open and the lift appeared dead. There are two lifts, both small and in constant use. It became very hot very quickly and I was frightened since I am claustrophobic so really started to worry very quickly.
The management got us out within about 10 minutes so not bad, I commend the speed and the fact that they were straight onto the job, but we were more than a little nervous about using the lift again.
We were given a free breakfast as a gesture which was nice and welcome.
The staff were friendly and the hotel pretty good apart from the facts mentioned above.
Would I stay there again? Probably, but I hope they sort the a/c , tv, wifi, and lift out first!
