I visited this hotel for a conference. First, I will say the conference facilities were excellent. These are not the windowless conference rooms you find at most hotels, instead both rooms used had extremely large windows with beautiful curtains. The food was served outdoors on the patios and during this time of year the weather was wonderful, so the outdoor meals worked perfectly. However, the food, even for hotel banquet food, was subpar.. If you are looking for a unique location for a conference this is amazing, not just because of the golf course but also because the conference rooms themselves are unique and beautiful.
The hotel itself is an amazing piece of architecture with a rich history. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. As you would expect in a facility of this type, the bed was wonderful, pillows and linens were first class. The towels in the bath were a little rougher than I would have expected but otherwise the room was very comfortable. As a historic property, please be aware that it does not have the convenient placement of outlet for recharging modern devices that most of us are used to.
The service however is terrible. I was stunned at the kind of service I received. Honestly, I would have expected better a a 2 star motel. First, when I entered the room, the TV in the sitting area was missing, with only the wires where it should have been - the bellman called down ant the front desk promised it would be fixed right away. That night at 9 PM I returned to my room and the TV was still not there. I called down to the front desk and they asked me if I wanted to change rooms - which would have been very inconvenient -when I said I just wanted the TV to be returned it was promised the next day. Please note the front desk did not apologize and I his tone was rude and unhelpful - basically his tone was that if I didn't want to change rooms he wasn't going to help me. The next day, when the TV was still not there by 4 PM I stopped by the front desk again and again there was no apology or empathy, just the clerk telling me "that's very strange that the TV wasn't there." Again a fix was promised. Finally, when I got to the room at 9 PM the TV was finally in place. I went to turn the light on in the sitting area and it came apart in my hand where the socket attached to the base - I had to unplug it because it was unsafe. The next day when I checked out, I explained about the lamp to the frond desk clerk and showed here a photo I took of the socket, again no apology, and she asked me to take my time and email her the photo. The I went to get my car form valet parking and it took well over 15 minutes, when I complained they told me they had 3 people leaving and only 1 runner for the cars.
his should have been a 4 or 5 star experience but lamps breaking, TVs missing and slow uncaring service take it down to a 2. I have included photos of the mounts wher the missing TV should have been and the broken lamp

One of the finest hotels I’ve visited. A Traditional architecture with exquisite taste for decoration. In the heart of Coral Gables a very beautiful residencial area and very close to different amenities.
I stayed for a week while attending a training on banking. Very good service, extremely polite people.
Exquisite dinning experience and the best premises for events.

I absolutely loved this property! The views are incredible, rooms are very spacious and the staff (too many to name) is spectacular. They go above and beyond to get the job done. If you are a tea lover, you should indulge in afternoon tea. It is exquisite! The hotel has an abundance of meeting spaces and 2 amphitheaters that are great for events. I will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful two night stay at the Biltmore. This is a historic wonderful hotel from a bygone era. Stay here for the history, lobby, bar, architecture, bird cages, incredible pool and amazing grounds. WOW!
The bed and linens were excellent, the furniture, a little tired. Could be friendlier to the power needs of our smartphones, ipads etc. The elevators, old and noisy, do not represent the hotel well. The service was very good. The only thing that surprised me was the hotel apparently lets skateboarding go on from upper level to parking. A little unusual, but I'm not from the area.

Stay there on an overnight stay heading to Fort Lauderdale.. had s wonderful sleep . I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Beautiful historical hotel! I enjoyed it! If I had another opportunity I would stay here again. The service was wonderful!
