Overnight stop
Lara Hon 21/08/2017 23:04On our way to our holiday destination We decided to do a stop over in IBIS AGEN as we had good experiences with IBIS before. Unfortunately room was not clean, (I have taken photos), room very basic and did not want to spend time in a dirty and not very Well maintained room. Also could not open door very Well with the key. Poor value for money! Very dissapointed!
It's Ibis, it's okay
Edgar Von 19/11/2016 20:39You know it is Ibis so don't expect much. But for a short stay, it is okay. It's near the city centre (just a 5 minutes walk) where the restaurants are. But there is also a restaurant just outside the hotel entrance. Tripadvisor suggets it is good, but I haven't tried it.
Not as good as Budget Ibis in Tours Nord

Room was smaller than Ibis Budget in Nord.
When checked out receptionist tried to charge me for car parking although Booking.com said it was included. She then tried to charge me a higher rate than given by Booking.com so I had to show her my email confirmation.

Ronnie1977on 23/08/2016 00:42Big car park and good air con. Room was on the small side and didn't have a fridge or tea/coffee making facilities and only 1 plug. Slept really well and there was nothing to really complain about. Staff were friendly. We stayed on a Sunday when everywhere was closed so just stayed in the room chilling.

ziggy007on 04/08/2016 09:53We visited Agen for a 2-day break & needed a hotel near the centre with secure parking & a lift. We have often stayed in Ibis hotels & knew they could be relied upon for these basics. The hotel was clean & attractive, with the chain's typical quirky decoration. Small room, but for our purposes that was fine, we were only going to sleep there! Quiet, efficient air conditioning plus the bonus of being able to open the window.Unusually we were not impressed with the sleeping arrangements. The bed had a mattress topper which was strangely lumpy & the bedlinen was quite rough, finished off with a heavy duvet which was much too hot even with the air conditioning.
However there was an excellent buffet breakfast, with a wide selection of lovely fresh viennoiserie. Staff were friendly & helpful & provided maps & advice.
It was an easy walk to the centre of town & the underground car parking was ideal.
