Lovely service from start to finish, really made to feel so comfortable. Staff really make this place! Lovely girls behind the desk, didn’t catch names stupidly but genuinely bubbly and nothing was too much trouble. I’m definitely not the easiest of guests 😅

First they tried to put me in a very small room in the underground floor. Then changed the room for another in the same dark and frighthening floor. The view to the air con turbine was lovely...
We couldn't sleep because of the turbine noise. It was like trying to sleep in an airplane!!
That's probably the reason for having 0,5liter bottles of vodka for sale in the room!!
The room was not clean. The shower was broken and it's door had a metal plate on the floor to cut your feet. No place for the bag (the floor and the bed doesn't count).
Cheap forniture. The sofa in the living room was D E A D dead!!!
And finally...don't believe the photos on the Hotel webpage!

Just one night at the Laslett prior to flying back to Australia. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly with a good room tour on check in. The public areas are small and become crowded quickly. They arranged a massage for me with a local spa which was excellent.
My room was well appointed with a street view. I was 'upgraded' to a double. The large refillable soap and shampoo containers I find impersonal but that is a just me. Good for a short stay.

Basic bedroom furnishings. Lovely bathroom. Noisy, no view (this obviously varies room to room) food ok,staff friendly however much confusion regarding my bill- nothing against the place but it is marketed as extremely high end- which is inaccurate.

Spent the weekend celebrating my birthday. The hotel was simply beautiful! Had an amazing time nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. They looked after us so well and nothing was too much trouble.
