We stopped by to have a dinner with our two kids (2 & 4). Eventhough the staff was very busy the service was quick and friendly. Schnitzels were okay, a big plus for the lingonberry jam on the side.
There's a huge green playground for kids with all the nice equipment, some older stuff and a brand new big pirate ship.
A very friendly boy was playing with our kids, I think he was a member of the family (?) running the business.

The location is good because is 5 minutes by car from Salzburg, while is peaceful at the same time. It has plenty of free parking and the room is very good with the exception of the carpet, which looked untidy and old.
The breakfast on the other hand was very poor, not worth a euro. We didn't get to meet the owners and the inside of the property was not very warm or welcoming. They have a nice cat roaming around though. The internet was unusable at least through the hotspot we got to connect.

If you like a calm place close to the city, Rupertigau is the option, specially if you have kids. The hotel offer a nice green area and also a playground. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly.

Very good food in the restaurant, very clean room. Quiet area! Near the main road and shipping but also on its own. Old building but well remodeled. No complaints. Easy to work with. Does not take amex but does take Visa card so no bothers.
