I've actually been coming to Eden every Summer for the last few years for work. We've met Cristian who owns the hotel and he is a warm, charming owner. The spa facilities are great and the food is very special. Every Tyrolean dish we tried was delicious - I can't wait to go back.

Fantastic hotel to spend an active vacation

We stayed for 6 days in Das Hotel Eden in Seefeld. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The service, the fantastic food, the wonderful view from the room, the relaxing SPA and calm and cosy Seefeld town - all that made our stay wonderful. We will definitely come back!

A perfect holiday at this hotel

Have visited Seefeld on a number of occasions but this was the first time at this Hotel. We had a superior room, which I would recommend as a quick view at the standard rooms gave the impression of being more compact.

Location could not be better, just 2 minutes from pedestrianised centre but still very quiet despite being on the main road. Staff were great. I would comment that majority of guests were Austrian/German which is to be expected and is great but menu is very much geared towards them and not the English taste.

However, meals were lovely. Breakfasts had everything you could wish for, free afternoon cakes and a splendid 5 course evening meal plus salad bar. Gala dinner (7 courses) and a Tyrolean buffet were also in the 7 day itinerary.

Hotel close to station which is undergoing considerable upgrading so give yourselves more time to purchase tickets. Visited all the usual places but discovered Mittenwald which is well worth a visit. Plenty of enjoyable walks.

Would highly recommend resort and this Hotel, and would certainly return here in the future.

An outstanding hotel

We have just enjoyed a week at the Hotel Eden, half board. We were surprised to find that we were the only English guests. We were told that 90% of guests are from Switzerland.
This hotel is perfectly situated, a couple of minutes walk from the town`s pedestrianised centre.
We paid a supplement for a superior room, and were not disappointed, it was well appointed and approximately 40`x14`.
Breakfast was a substantial hot and cold buffet, all of which was good quality. The 5 course dinner was varied and tasty throughout the week, and included a 7 course gala dinner, and a splendid Tyrolean buffet another night.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and their English was much better than our German.
If you want a week in this lovely little town we would heartily recommend this hotel, which we booked through the Inghams Lakes and Mountains brochure.

Another fine stay in Seefeld

We have been to Seefeld many times. This was the first time in Das Hotel Eden, and we were not disappointed.
We were very surprised about the silent proof rooms. Maybe because it was a calm period, but we did not hear any sound from other rooms or corridor when in our room. Travelling with our almost 3 year old daughter we felt very welcome. There was a separate children's buffet at 6.30PM, which was 30minutes before our evening dinner and perfect timing for our daughter's sleeptime and for us to enjoy the fine cuisine. Although we (as parent) did miss some fresh vegetables in the children's buffet, our daughter didn't.
Restaurant staff was very friendly and always eager to give a hand. We did however miss some typical Austrian friendliness with Reception staff.
Anyway, for us it was again a fantastic week in Seefeld with a first time skiing experience for our little girl.
