Stayed there for 2 nights in summer. Rather new furniture and repair, clean bathroom.
But not very cheap considering its long distance from nearest underground. Also I could not leave my belongings before checking-in.

We stayed here during white nights season and so could expect not to find it cheap. But in the end if you add up the extras (as we were travelling with two children) like extra beds and visa support (which is a must for us to get our visa, so having to pay 500 rub per person is quite a rip-off for having one letter being sent to you. Pre arrival it was quite OK, with responsive answers and help. It is located 15 minutes from Moscow train station or nearest underground, which makes it quite long before you get into center. We arrived around mid night, and could get in our chamber with extra bed (next to the sofa-bed) for kid, each one is paying. Breakfast quite conveniently till 1100 if I recall well, which is good if you go out in the nighttime for some boat trip or other attraction late. Breakfast is quite basic, you can choose from one hot dish (luckily written also in English), there are some cereals, cheese, juices, toaster, hard boiled eggs. Room is quite large, but double bed was really smelling badly as if someone urinated in it. We put sheets down but either it was not changed or it was really inside the mattress. Small shower cell in simple bathroom. Fridge in the room which is large and not filled much as minibar, which comes in handy. Overall were disappointed with the price/quality dislocation, in a not so convenient nor luxurious place.

Stayed here last summer - dreadful. Tucked away down some side street 15 mins walk to the nearest underground. Very unfriendly staff acted like they'd never seen a British traveller- ignored, dirty looks, tutting- the staff definitely need to go to charm school! Room was described a luxury double- there was nothing luxury about that room!! It was more no frills than a Holiday Inn. The duvet and pillows were the thinnest I've ever had the unfortunate experience of sleeping on- my husband said it was like sleeping under a sheet of paper. In the morning we asked for coffee and were given instant cheap Nescafé - we soon noticed that when a Russian tourist asked for coffee they were given fresh ground coffee!!! Nice to feel so special- not. An uncomfortable experience- basic and over priced. There are much better places in a more central location avoid!

Have visited with family inJanuary'13. Complimentary sparkling wine and chocolate with New Year greetings was a nice surprize. Convenient price, excellent location and hotel condition together with friendly personnel made stay very comfortable. Arrangements for 2 adults + 2 kids in room are done in advance, made arrival and check-in smooth, quick and easy.
Definitely will come again!
