'A Home For Nature lovers' name perfectly suits Jambughoda palace. It's beautiful, simple but elegant. If you are looking for mental peace it is the right place. It serves organic homely food. Rooms are spacious and clean. Specially suite and deluxe AC rooms are excellent. Feel like visiting again.
Stay away ...Misleading Photographs ... !!!!

We booked this property on the basis of photographs and some good reviews on booking.com. but all in all it was a pathetic experience compare to the money we have spent for.
Let me tell you photograph they have shown of a Palace is their personal use. Guest are not allowed. Guest rooms are made out of their old kitchen, servant room and old horse stable The room which we stayed in does have very small window looking at their farm but not at all scenic. Rooms are very basic in nature. Garden are very badly maintained. Lots of Mosquitos so you cannot sit out side in evening.Very limited choice of food. They did not serve us aa la carte. Food is basic but on expensive side
House keeping was very poor. they cleaned our room only once during our five day stay. There are so many things which need to be improved. They provide me only comprehensive bill not itemwise. We were not in a mood to spoil our vacation so we didnt complain but Over all very POOR experience.
Only plus point it it is in between a very huge farm land so you feel between nature BUT not at this price..
I would definitely NOT recommend this property.
There are so many point I am missing out but I am tired of writing now .. ))
A homely get away!!!

This definitely served as a "Home away from home" for our family consisting of 7 adults and a 4 year old kid...Lovely food cooked on a low flame (as they still do in the villages), tasted different and delicious...Absolutely clean and very well maintained pool added to the pleasure of our day trip...
Though we did not stay over night at the resort, the rooms, especially the deluxe rooms looked good and inviting and we would definitely be planning a stay here in future...Location is awesome, serene surroundings, pets at the resort & some sports like badminton, table tennis, horse riding, added zeal to our stay...
Solitude of the resort itself grips you in, even if you voluntarily decide to not touch on the excursions from the resort, which are not very much worthwhile to write home about...
We would definitely recommend the place to other fellow travellers...Thanks to the owner, Mr. Karmaveer Sinh Rana, his wife and attendent Durjan Singh for taking good care of us during our trip...
HORRIBLE

The Home for Nature Lovers is a reasonably good place to spend a quiet brief Holiday may be 1 or 2 days in the green environs of the tribal belt of Gujarat just about 80-90 km from Vadodara. The property is an extension of an old Palace and the rooms are quite spacious and decent with basic amenities ( except a TV - so that one can enjoy a peaceful holiday, rightly so). The gardens are well maintained and the Restaurant staff courteous and prompt- though the food prices ( not included) are a bit expensive.Monsoons and early winters should be a good time to go there.
