I think that the people leaving negative reviews need to realise that they are getting a decent room on the Gold Coast for around the $80 mark, no mean feat i tell you.
I recently stayed in room 21, as i requested a quiet room 2 months in advance. If you ask for things like this, they really do try and help you out. Room 21 is extremely spacious,, quiet, clean and represents outstanding value for money. If i could always stay in this room i would stay there time & time again.

The pictures of the motel room in WOTIF are not a true representation of the actual condition of the room.
Peeling wall paint, leaking taps, rusty towel rails in bath room, hard beds,and generally needs a good cleanup.
Would not go back!!!

Stayed for a night on a road trip with the family. Comfortable beds and spacious room for the five of us. Price was fantastic. They have obviously had problems with people staying and trashing the rooms so there are lots of signs in the room stating you'll be charged if you don't leave the room in a tidy state when you leave.

This hotel was budget as. The roof was cracked and plaster was falling on the floor, the carpet was average and looked stained. The fly screens were ripped and the windows didn't shut properly. We stayed one night and hardly spent any time in the room at all, we were charged a 50$ bond which we never got back. This was apparently due to a blue drink spilt in the carpet, but none of us were even drinking in the room. Overall this place scores a 1.

We are a couple on a long weekend away, travelling on a slight budget. This motel was perfect for us, really good value! The rooms were clean and tidy, also providing tea and coffee. The man who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The location was great, super close to the beach and restaurants. A short drive away to broadbeach and surfers. We were exhausted after arriving in brisbane at 530am. We got to the hotel at 9am, the owner was super kind allowing us an early check in as there was a room available. We were so greatful as it meant we could freshen up and have a sleep before going to explore. Would definitely recommend for the price.
