What People are saying

Not so close to town!

Janice Pon 26/10/2017 09:28

We booked this hotel based on the proximity that was listed on the description we saw on the internet. You really need a car if you are staying at this hotel. It is a good 40 minute walk. The hotel has seen better days. It is clean and comfortable, just a little frayed around the edges. Having said that, it is very good value for the money. This photo was taken from the terrace of the hotel.

Worst hotel i have ever stayed in

gata29on 12/10/2017 09:44

Booked in to room 204 after travelling since 06:00 . Room was basic and very tired but the terrace was good. There was a constant humming presumably from the air condition units outside. We did not have the air conditioning on so it was out of our control. After listening to this noise for over two hours preventing us from going to sleep i went to the check in desk and insisted on being moved due to the noise. The staff were aware of the noise and said it was a problem in the hotel. We were moved to a room without a terrace and still had the noise but not as much. Again this room was tired but ok. One of the duvet sheets on the bed was dirty with blood and a towel still had the remains of someones makeup on. We reported this the following morning as we had had enough that nightand it was changed. Breakfast was basic but ok. All the staff were very pleasant and the hotel had great veiws of Toledo. It is a good 15 minute walk to the entrance of the old city but pleasant. Taxi ride back which is all uphill was less than 7 Euros. Would not recommend this hotel .

Clean, Friendly and Comfortable

This is a family run hotel that is located just outside of the core. The view of the city is amazing. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. There is a bar and restaurant where one can eat inside or on the patio with the great view.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and try to communicate in english. Parking is free as is wifi. The food is good and reasonably priced, considering they have a captive audience, as there is not much else available. I would recommend this property and would stay there again.

Great city view

This hotel is raised above the south bank of Tagus river and has rooms with lovely city views. You'll need a car though to make the most of the stay. We stayed just the one night and on the whole it was a nice stay. Hotel has large enough pool and car park. Food was ok, nothing special. Functional buffet breakfast. Did the basics well.

Great bones but tired

This hotel sits at the top of the city, with spectacular views from the outdoor space. Its basic, with few amenities (restaurant, pool, free wifi, bar). There is no concierge so getting information about the surrounding area, places to go, places to see and even where to buy basic items is not possible. The desk staff is, for the most part, helpful, but also very busy so plan to wait on line unless you're checking out. You can walk to many of the sites but walking back is all uphill. Taxi rates are quite reasonable.
Breakfast is included, varied and plentiful. Dinner is available - local dishes. The bar is open throughout the day for beverages and small dishes until 4p. The food services staff is kind and helpful. The garage is tiny, the spaces are very tight and its almost impossible to park a car in it so best to park it outside.
Housekeeping is a bit lackluster....
There is no information about hotel services in the room and the phone in our room did not work. We did have a balcony and for that we were grateful.
