Good location, easy to get lost with the narrow winding ally/streets. Best to use a navigation app on your phone to help. The taxi drops you off right in front of the door and the traffic has to stop behind the taxi while you unload luggage and pay the driver. This is what the narrow one lane ally ways are like and everyone is patient. Do Not Get a Room on the First Floor. Noisy and the two layers of sliding glass windows buffer the noise but do not allow for ANY air movement. Higher up in the building the better! as the noise in the little alleys reverberate. Rooms could use a little lighter paint color to brighten. Bathroom good size and clean. Good breakfast assortment.

Located on a one way extremely narrow street in Seville’s
If you happen to be coming by car or taxi, you cannot just stop in front of the hotel to leave your bags and check in…you will be blocking all vehicular traffic behind you. Driving a to the nearest intersection is no help because you cannot stop there since it happens to be the old historic part of and the street is very narrow (sometimes one car width).
We had a large room on the first floor with high ceilings since the floor of our room was below street level. The windows to our room were above the sidewalk of a side street.
Hotel is located in El Centro (downtown). There is a maze of pedestrian-only narrow streets. Walking distance to Cathedral, Barrio Santa Cruz, La Triana, Alcazar, Cathedral, and banks of Guadalquivir River.

It was my first visit to Seville and what a beautiful city. Weather was very hot 35c and sunny.
We stayed at the Hotel Abanico and were given a room on the bottom floor. It had like a studio room then you went upstairs to the bedroom. Very nice and spacious. It was clean and breakfast was nice edpecially the spanish omelette!
Staff were lovely and couldnt do enough for us.
The location is in the heart of Seville and only a short walk to the Santa Cruz Quarter where you'll find mamy restaurants, bars and shops.
Youll find Tapas in most places.
We took a horse & carriage ride around the city and this was well worth it evdn though it was a bit on the expensive side. Lots of fabulous places to visit and overall a really enjoyable trip.
We stayed for 4nts and i would definately recommend the Hotel Abanico!

Located on a narrow street with no parking. Our taxi driver dropped us off quickly as traffic is constant on Calle Aguilas.
On arrival the receptionist was very helpful and showed us to our room. When we were ready she would then provide us with further information of the City.
However the room was on the street, quite large though, very dark, no air conditioning (dread to think what it must be like in the summer) and a very poor shower room. The shower tray leaked as there was a crack right down the middle and the tiles were covered in mould. The toilet dripped all night. We were offered another room because of the leaking shower but the room we were offered was much smaller and looked even more shabby.
The lobby area is very beautiful keeping to the tradition of a courtyard for this age of accommodation.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied and served on a buffet basis.
Would regard this as expensive for the standard of the hotel but we could not fault the very helpful, English speaking receptionist where she was always able to answer our queries. She also recommended us to buy our tickets for Alcazar in advance as the queues are bad. I forwarded my email confirmation to the hotel where she very kindly printed our tickets for us.

We stayed in a room for 4 on the first floor of this hotel. Room was clean and we had two showers in our room. Breakfast was a very nice variety. We went to the desk because our room was hot on our return in the evening and the attendant said they have main control of the air conditioning near the front desk. We requested our room be turned down and they obliged and our room cooled nicely. Overall, very nice stay!
