Sharon and Paul are such warm and welcoming people that you instantly feel at home in their beautiful house. Lovely breakfasts with lots of choice and homemade cakes, biscuits and fresh milk are waiting for you when you return after your days out. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and with fabulous wet rooms. We always look forward to our stays at Abbotsleigh and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Looking forward to our next visit in the summer.

Thankyou Paul and Sharon for making us feel so welcome in your beautiful home.Everything about our visit was perfect.Our room was lovely we fell in love with the fantastic ensuite.Breakfasts were delicious loved all the home made bread ,cake etc.It was areal pleasure to meet such delightful hosts.We hope o make a return visit. My husband and I have just returned from a long weekend in Whitby and our third stay at Abbotsleigh House. As on our previous visits the room was comfortable and spotless, with fantastic bed and shower and the bonus of delicious homemade biscuits. Sharon and Paul are warm and informative hosts, breakfast is excellent and overall Abbotsleigh is the perfect base for a relaxing break in this wonderful town. Looking forward to next time already!

A wonderful stay at this bed & breakfast. Highly recommended truely a 4*. Will be returning. Great location, 5 minutes walk to the sea. Excellent home made cakes and biscuits. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
