You will want to stay here
westmcadamson 13/06/2017 12:48Hotel Abetaia has all of the modern conveniences including really nice beds and showers. The best part of staying there are the hosts. Michele is a character who owned a wine bar for many years. He knows his wine. Sonia his wife is a gourmet chef who will wow you with great local cuisine. The saffron ice cream and basil pot desserts are unforgettable.
A Wonderful Accommodation for Cinque Terre
Ionela Mon 11/04/2017 16:02If you want to stay in a modern hotel while you visit the National Park of Cinque Terre , this is the best solution in the area. The rooms are modern decorated, clean and very spacious. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area and is surrounded by a very beautiful garden and forest.
The on-site restaurant is excellent. We end up eating there every night during our stay. Pls be advised you will need a reservation.

We definitely recommend the place and if we return in the area, for sure we will stay here.

We drove back out of town a couple miles to eat and found this wonderful Hotel Abetaia. very clean , new place. Nice little restaurant that had wonderful free breakfast with the room. We ended up eating there in the evening too . WONDERFUL food and wine !! only a few miles from the train station . seemed like if you choose a hotel right in Levanto you had to walk a long way to train station or drive and park there anyway so we picked a perfect place to stay.
Great place to stay exploring Cinque Terre and Liguria
Marcin Son 13/10/2016 21:40Situated within a short ride from city of Levanto however without the hustle and bustle of cinque terre and the crowds visiting it every day is a perfect place to stay as it is a calm hotel with very friendly and helpful hosts. The restaurant serves magnificent food in the evenings focusing on local product as well as some Italian standards as well as very diversified breakfasts in form of the buffet so you can find something suiting your needs. If you wish to drink some wine at the spot or take with you home rely on the owners advices. We had tried a lot of it with different foods and it was never a miss. Also ask the owners for advices where to go and what to see in the area as they are really friendly people and willing to help when planning your trip around Cinque Terre. Only issue is that the car is highly recommended while staying there as there is no public transport to/from Levanto. Hope to visit the place again while in cinque Terre!
New hotel, almost perfect
marc von 26/08/2016 19:02The hotel is recommendable. New and close (by car only unfortunately) to Levanto. Very friendly welcoming and the in-house restaurant was (a bit too) expensive but we enjoyed nevertheless. Breakfast was for me great, not too big but offering fresh produce. Great coffee.
Only minus was that the aircon did not work for 2 nights.
Altogether a positive experience and would surely go back when in the area.
