Due to an illness, we were unable to travel for our reservation at the Abrar Palace Resort. However, I wanted to highlight how understanding and accomodating the resort was in response - despite a late cancellation they kindly agreed to not charge for our stay, despite being within their rights to do so.
On this basis I am pleased to recommend them for first class customer service.

We stayed there for a night with the aim of taking the early morning safari. Safari was booked online and the jeep was expected at morning 6.
We reached the hotel at evening 7 after a leisurely drive from Kota. Staff was courteous, maybe slightly sluggish. After the traditional welcome we moved into our room.
There was a small 15 m pool which was not very clean but welcoming. So, after a quick bath and change we jumped in to enjoy the next two hours. The evening snacks were had by the pool side and soon it was dinner time.
The chicken lollipop was not very tasty as the taste of frozen chicken stood out. The dinner spread was amazing and quantity was more than adequate. Taste was also good.
Morning tea is served at 530 am. There is an option to make tea in the room too. After we returned from the safari at 9 am we went for breakfast in the restaurant which is a huge tent. On offer was poha, bread and poori. We tasted the entire range and came back fully loaded. The tents adjacent to the restaurant looked tempting and it seems that the hotel organises some cultural event when the occupancy is more. When we stayed we were the only people.
After more time in the pool and a heavy lunch, we checked out from such excellent surroundings.
Frank review-
Pluses - Spacious rooms, not so large pool, greenery around, meal options. Closer to park gate.
Minuses - no filtration of the pool, untrained staff- some of them, overpriced at 6000/- for a room, lack of other facilities

Refreshing stay after 2 days in noisy and crowded Jaipur. Since first moment staff were trying to fulfill every our desire. Clean rooms, good food and extremely helpful staff. In addition to that we met 2 tigers at our third ( and last) safari tour. It was on route 2. Amazing experience.
