Appropriately priced
HStephenon 07/11/2017 11:37The hotel is on the site of an old convent. What is original and what is "reconstructed" is difficult to decifer. The room decor is basic; not exciting but we were not missing anything either. The food was about the same.
We found the hotel a bit far from town for our liking. We had to taxi it into Valladolid in the evenings.
Relaxing hotel with good ambience
pavakealon 11/10/2017 17:49We were traveling north and wanted a hotel near to the main road system. The AC proved exactly what was required and easy to find with good signposting. The hotel is very well presented in old fashioned architecture and modern facilities. Reception staff at check in and check out were friendly and efficient as were all other staff that we met.
The room was very large, clean and had a great view over the gardens and river. Bathroom was excellent with plenty of extras available even though they were typical packaged items.
Dining room was the best part of the stay and dinner was superb. Tasty, well presented and just sufficient quantity to ensure a happy memorable experience. Breakfast was simple buffet but quite good.

The breakfast was good but The service was Horrible.
The 2 men who were on duty that fridaymorning at 9.15 weren't 😩polied at all.Only 1 woman was present that time and She must fellt The same way.A shame for A-C hotel Marriott.
Beautiful and peaceful location
Capdan13on 17/09/2017 17:23What a find. A truly beautiful hotel, set in lovely grounds looking out over the river. Built on the site of an old convent it has either retained or been restored in keeping with how it would have been.
The room windows all have an old single shutter which does make the room very dark at night. The rooms are large with lovely laid out bathrooms, all very modern and tiled. Lovely fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. The room furniture a little tired
Free WiFi which worked well. Good air con.
The lounge and breakfast area is in the old cloister domed area. Sadly we were there on the one dull August day so did not see it when the sun was shining, therefore breakfast was a little on the dark side! Ample choice at breakfast.
Lots of parking either outside or underground. It was not busy when we stayed (end of August) so we could park outside the main door.
A very peaceful location. It is a 5 star Hotel. I would say it was missing just a few '5*' things but would put it high end '4*'. There is a pool, sauna and gym all available to use. Sadly we were not there long enough but would love to come back, maybe next year.
One tip the Sat nav kept trying to send us away from the hotel as there is now a one way system in place. We actually drove past the hotel once as we could see a huge AC Hotel sign, but that is situated way past it.You then have to go all the way round again . The hotel actual sign is in terracotta outside the main door and blends in. Drive slowly see the car park on your right and you are there. Easy once you see it!

Geoff Bon 14/09/2017 09:33Lovely hotel, beautiful architecture, luxury accommodation. Nice location by the river and lovely gardens. Staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble. NOT near the town centre (thankfully) so very peaceful. Only thing lacking is that there are no tea making facilities in the room, but hey!
