Overall the resort is fabulous, beautiful views of the bay and surrounding countryside. The resort is well integrated into its surrounds. We were given the honeymoon suite directly overlooking the bay and beached area. The staff were professional and polite and helpful whenever we needed anything. The room was surprisingly austere and would have benefited from a sofa and rugs to give it more elegance. The "kitchen"area comprised of a sink, empty cupboards and drawers containing minimal utensils and a fridge - note no grill or cooker, so dont expect to do any self catering. The ensuite was workable but the shower head needed to be held when in use. The double bed was comfortable with a mosquito net surrounding it. You will need it. The window screens were broken and the bathroom window was without one. So it was a case of hunt the mosquito every night before bed. Take a mosi machine with you and plenty of tablets! The suite was well serviced by cleaners everyday, beds made and towels changed. Breakfasts were standard, mainly continental, but just ask if you want something else and the chef was pretty good and tried to accommodate your wants. big problems with wasps though. Every morning, swarmed wasps invaded the open area to try to beat you to the food. Be prepared for that. Surprising the management doesn't try to find some ways of dealing with them. Dinner in the evening, if you're on half board is limited to the chefs choice. He tries hard to make it interesting. If its raining forget the restaurant, the area is open to the elements and the area is closed. You may get room service but then the food may be wet and cold when you get it. Wifi is limited to the restaurant and pool area if youre lucky and it's working. The honeymoon suite doesn't have any phone signal you're your cut off from the rest of the world until you get close to the restaurant. The approach to the resort is by an unpaved track for three kilometres, driving is quite scary especially at night and especially if wet. The resort does not supply transport so you will need to take a taxi or hire a car to get to the resort. The resort is rather isolated, you can stay there for the week and chill on the beach or by the pool. If you want to see other areas you need transport. The nearest town is back to the port. A 40 min drive. You may need to do that as you can't drink the water. The resort charges you for the bottled water you use. Cheaper to go to the supermarket before you arrive. The other town is Andros a one and half hour drive away across the other side of the island. A pretty place and worth the journey. Overall the resort is pleasant and relaxed but could be so much more...
An excellent stay

The hotel is located over a very nice beach on the northern part of the island of Andros, Cyclades. The buildings are totally integrated to the surrounding environment without disturbing the natural beauty. Very well preserved, the gardens are full of Greek flowers and olive trees. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of local products, the restaurant had very well prepared dishes and a nice convenient wine list. The personnel was very friendly and polite.
Amazing Views

Two couples and a three year old. We had a villa with two bedrooms and bathrooms overlooking the bay. Absolutely stunning sunrises and views, could not get enough of them. We were at the villa for 4 days and for us felt that was long enough. We generally like to get out and about, adventure and see things but this resort is really for relaxing and switching off. This is unless you'd like to pay for a taxi/car for your time of which I wouldn't advise as the roads are quite bad. We chose half board and spent our mornings at the pool and then walked down to the beach. The beach is a steep walk, not dangerous but definitely something to be aware of as it's quite a hike to get back up. Once you are down at the beach there is a lovely shack that sells drinks and sandwiches but also a taverna which is simply amazing, we went there for lunches daily.
The hotel breakfast is lovely if you get there early but the hot food isn't great if you're late. Who wants hot food in the sun though! The pool is great and Margarita plays tunes there to keep you relaxed. Dinner was excellent, we had 3 course dinners and this wasn't too filling but enough food. Our 3 year old would fall asleep at the table most nights and the staff were accomodating with providing blankets and pillows so we could make a chair bed which allowed us to stay at dinner for longer. Lovely resort for the relaxing families!
Very disappointed

First of all, the location is splendid and we had a blast spending the week on that spot of Andros. The staff was very nice and helpful, particularly a handsome boy called Filipe. The breakfast was delicious and the swimming pool was spectacular.
But we have to say we were a bit disappointed about the manager Margarita who never tried to help us with :
- the transport from the port to the hotel (40minutes by car/35euros one way) was'nt included. We don't have a car licence so we couldn't move from the hotel except by walk, but she didn't propose any easy and cheap solution even a taxi package for the week. Moreover the local taxi from the port takes 27 euros for coming to the hotel while she is offering to charge 35 euros.
- She never engaged with us by trying to suggest us nice treks in the area. She just indicated us some paths quickly without even looking at us while talking or show us on a map, and seemed to be annoyed answering our questions.
- Now let's talk about the rooms:
- Not adapted for 4 people at all, 2 of us had to sleep on couches in the living room that were not comfortable at all, which is quite upsetting regarding the price (2000 euros the week)
- We were constantly disturbed by the smell coming up from the bathroom and the terrasse where we were supposed to eat...
- Besides if ure young and looking for a place to have fun with ur friends it's not a good idea because it's surrounded by families and children!
- More of all, we had a nice week but really not worth the price!
beautiful and peaceful stay with breathtaking views

We had a wonderful view of the Zorgos beach from our room. The beach itself is beautiful--clean and well-maintained with crystal clear blue waters. Margarita and the staff of the hotel were amazing. We went on some great hikes near the hotel. The hotel is difficult to get to, so I would not recommend it if you are eager to easily explore the other areas of the island, but it is perfect for a peaceful getaway with great food, delicious cocktails and wine, a really nice pool, and a great beach. The experience we had at Aegea Blue made Andros my favorite of the Cyclades Islands! I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat.
