Staff help you, before you get on the driveway, by collecting you in a transit minibus with your cases, to take you the short drive up the hill to reception.
I reckon the Aeolos could be the best on Corfu and possibly, one of the best Greece has to offer. The resort is 70 years old! Yet the accommodation and ALL public areas, are very modern, well kept and clean. Staff are courteous and will always, give you the time of day, for a chat if you want to. English is fluent with everyone we met. Cleaner/janitor, chef, waitress, bar staff, reception and entertainment staff.
Food is outstandingly good, yes really. Wine and beer is not like you may read on TripAdvisor. It's good n strong and very drinkable. I'm a red wine fan, my gf white. We enjoy tasty wine. We enjoy allsorts from 1961 to present day @£4 per bottle to £???
Accommodation; Poseidon 1211; a wet room, standalone shower (theres room for a romantic shower), and a bath, with a shower over bath. Plenty of places to hang towels, a separate loo with an opening window. Bed was firm but lovely. Flat screen tv and aircon. Comfy chairs n table on balcony. Tea coffee facilities and a safe. Sea view includes views of mainland Greece and airlines departing/arriving at airport. Pools are busy but plenty of sunbeds.

7 nights no faults. Lovely holiday.

Booked 7 nights here, wish we had booked for longer. Lets get the all important bit out of the way first...... the hill. Yes this hotel is on a hill. It does say that in every review I have seen on the place and even mentions it on the hotels website. I didn't find it a problem and the hotel even lay on a courtesy minibus to get you up and down the hill if you need it, so its not really an issue.
Our apartment, even though a garden view, had a lovely view of the sea as well, so was a lovely surprise. The apartment itself was well laid out with a lovely king sized bed, a bath, a seperate shower, and all the facilities you would expect.
The food was lovely, plenty of choices every night and a wide variety of everything. The staff in the restaurants were amazing and couldnt do enough to help, special mentions here to Anna Marie and Socrates the maitre d. Although I have seen reviews on here about the all inclusive drinks, we were not disappointed. Yes the wine was a bit harsh, but I found the Red was fine when you had it with a meal. All other all inclusive drinks were fine, and the cocktails were lovely.
The included Al a Carte meal was a bonus and we had a lovely evening dining on the edge of the beach.
The beach itself, although small was never crowded and we always managed to get a lounger. Our favourite position had to be the smaller jetty as we never moved. Definitely take a snorkel as the marine life was amazing. Feeding the shoals of fish by hand was a wonderful experience.
All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. One night I asked at reception for extra tea and coffee, only wanted a couple of sachets to take to my room. Half an hour later a member of staff arrived at the room with a bag full. Excellent service.
Location wise the hotel is in a lovely position overlooking mainland Greece and Albania and is close to the airport. Tickets for the bus into Corfu Town are easily available in the shop in the lobby and the bus stops at the main entrance to the hotel so is easily available. Also at the entrance i saw car and scooter hire if that is what you wanted, and opposite you could hire canoes, pedaloes and boat trips.

All in all we had a wonderful holiday at Aeolos Beach and would definitely return

After deciding to book a later holiday not to compromise my ginger complexion we settled upon Aeolos beach resort hotel which was die to the fact of meeting Eleanna who w
Had worked the season prior at Benitses Bay view from which we had visited last year.

The hotel is extremely high quality and this showed with standard of cleaning extremely high and a large selection of food for all tastes. The hotel also boasted an animations team who need a special mention. They worked tirelessly every day with the possibility to join activities such as petanque, volleyball, table tennis, water polo and crazy darts to and a few. Of a night there was also a show or music on hosted by external bands or the animation team who had showed no sense of loss in motivation even towards the end of what was long season.

The hotel offers the opportunity to eat at a restaurant which is bookable not far from the beach (privately owned) and offered something different. Especially nice if you're a fan of seafood.

There is a shop on site and by the main road and a possibility to book quads or cars and excursions. I would suggest if you want the latter though to book a little further down in Benitses (20 minute walk) as it's much cheaper around 10 euros. Just be careful of the road to Benitses as pavements are limited and roads are bendy.

All in all a lovely stay and would definitely recommend a visit. We
would be happy to go back here at some point in the future. If driving or quadding is not your thing you have a bus stop outside the hotel giving an option to travel in to Benitses or to Corfu town about 30 minutes away.

Relaxing

We came here for a week of Sunshine and to relax. It's exactly what we got. We arrived before the end of the season, so I think it was really quite for that reason. The food over all was Okay, plenty to choose but a snack bar would be good through out the day. The beach was small but nice enough. We are at the beach bat for lunch once but as it's open kitchen wasps and flys land on the food and was very off putting. There were so many wasps around it was annoying. The staff were lovely and very clean hotel. I was surprise with a lovely birthday cake during the a la carte mean. The free massage was fabulous too. The entertainment in the evening wasn't great but I think that because it was closing soon, they just put on random things. Was an enjoyable holiday but I would go so close to end of season again. The bus was handy to.tale you to town as well. It's a shame it's only all inclusive till 11pm. I would recommend the boat trip as it's good to have a say away from the resort. Also go to Corfu town for shopping and nice drinks in the evening.

Booked 11 nights at this resort and we thoroughly enjoyed are stay here in Corfu. Hotel was excellent, we had a villa apartment which was well spaceous and cleaned every day. The staff were all very friendly. The restaurant was exceptional - so much to choose from, self service for drinks, excellent staff. Beach seemed rather small so did not spend any time on there, but the grounds and buildings were well maintained.
