The lodge has an amazing view over river Volta. The swimming pool area and garden are lovely too, perfect for relaxation whilst enjoying a beautiful scenery. The room was well furnished, however not very clean, the duvet had a funny smell like urine. Food to order at the lodge is a little bit expensive however the portions are generous. The staff is extremely polite and patient which made our stay more enjoyable.

We stayed here with our two kids (ages 6 and 9) for 1 night on our way back to Accra from the Volta Region. We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms as they were more well-appointed than we had expected. The air conditioning was fantastic (we hadn't had that for the week we had been in Ghana already) and the beds were quite comfortable.
The bathroom was pretty clean although there were details that were missed (e.g., the cup in the bathroom was filthy).
There was free WiFi but it was spotty at best.
The breakfast was pretty good and was standard for everyone (juice, toast, hash browns, eggs, chicken hot dogs and stir-fried vegetables).
There was also an area where our kids could play volleyball and soccer and there was also a pool.
We did discover some questionable safety issues, namely, a hole where a step should have been that dropped into the gutter and then the river. It was definitely large enough to fit a small child and was not marked off at night when it was almost invisible (my husband almost fell in it). This would be an easy thing to fix and they really should before someone gets hurt.
Lastly, the water pressure was very interesting. By 8am there literally was none...zip...zero. My husband wasn't even sure he was going to be able to rinse his hair. Given there seemed to be only a couple of other people staying here at the same time as us that did seem very odd and sudden.

Went here for a nice honeymoon, when we arrived the place was dark dark dark. When we got our room the Chalet the sheets were dirty and the shower was broken. One of the windows would not close. They then changed our room, when we got there Geico's was there to greet us. Room was changed again and no air they had to call an air conditioner fixer. The food was stale. Spoke with the manager and we left.

Perfect view, nice garden. While we were there a school class was joining us and had a big party (very loud and very long) . Without this party people it´s a lovely place. The stuff tried hard. We had a nice boat trip. It´s a little bit sad that all native animals (crocodiles, hippos, monkeys) are gone.

Beautiful place with a beautiful river and natural plantation surrounding it. Has a great swimming pool and great food. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves. We took lots of great pictures. I mean that day was memorable. The waitresses understood our choice food and served us as such. No doubt I'll love to be there again.
