The room was very comfortable besides simple. The price was fair, mainly considering that the breakfast is amazing! The location is also good. I would recommend it to anyfriend looking for a nice place to sleep.

We love the After Hotel! It is a top-notch hotel for the price & located near Montevideo Shopping, many restaurants & the Rambla near the ocean. We stayed here for three weeks & totally loved it! It's easy & safe to walk even at night! The staff is so friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious with many amenities that we did not expect i.e. wash cloths, lotion, robes, turn-down services, friendly cleaning staff, good wifi. The hotel is clean & the breakfast is excellent & consistent including meats, cheeses, breads, fresh fruits, juices, scrambled eggs, bacon, good coffee. Our favorite is the variety of fruits with extras such as seeds & yogurts and cocoa & extras for the coffee. On the top floor is a small pool & adequate place to enjoy the sun or a drink & the view of the city. The workout room is rather small but adequate and always clean! Overall, the After Hotel is a fantastic place for a reasonable price! Definitely a must stay!!!

Uruguayan prices are hard to guess. Here's a nice hotel in the Buceo district that is a distinct bargain. And the desk staff is outstanding - helpful, kind, pleasant. The breakfast room is uninspired, but the fruit is good. Parking is a challenge, as in much of Montevideo. Still, highly recommended.

We loved this hotel. It was really top-notch for the price we paid: delicious breakfast included (hot foods too, not just baked goods), pretty nice pool and roof deck, gym, and the staff was really nice and eager to help! The only thing was that we didn't realize how far away it was from the old city/mercado del puerto. We spent a lot of money on ubers going back and forth, but since ubers were so cheap, we didn't really care. What's cool is that this hotel is steps away from the Puerto Del Buceo which is gorgeous and also steps away from a street with a bunch of very nice restaurants that are not touristy at all. I would definitely stay there again if I went back!

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean room. Facility is totally non-smoking! Buffet Breakfast had a great selection of items to choose from including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, fresh fruit, deli meats and cheeses, yogurts, juices,cereals, etc.Highly recommended. A great value for your money!
